You shall not pass

My last submission for 2011, and one that I'm actually proud of!
Behold, Gandalf the Grey against the Balrog of Moria, from that iconic scene on the Bridge of Khazad-dûm

This was a gift for one of my best friends, , who - like me - is a huge LotR fan So when Christmas rolled around, what else was I going to paint her?

I even added some texture _{by going bonkers on the base coat with acrylic and a spoon} but the paint didn't go as thickly as I would have liked so the impasto didn't turn out so well

Regardless I had a lot of fun doing this
Ohyeah, and ignore all the mistakes you see in it, I've actually already fixed them (or at least the ones I managed to find) but I forgot to take another picture before I gave it to her so this picture just has to do
