MD Geist in Captain Planet

Description

Here's yet another shocking comparison pic I decided to do. Does anybody remember an early 90s show called "Captain Planet"? If not, I can't say I blame you. It's been years now since then, and not many people liked it anyway. At least not from what I've heard. The show was not very popular during its run on television. But the company didn't care about the show's lack of popularity; they had enough money to keep the show running, and it lasted from 1990 to 1996. By then, Road Rovers was on TV, Independence Day was in theaters, and the N64 had just been released to America. Captain Planet lasted for 5 seasons, and a total of 113 episodes were produced. For many people who disliked the series, it was a shame that they had to endure six long years of everlasting shame. As for me, I never really liked or disliked the series. I was pretty indifferent of it to say the least.

Anyway, I made this comparison shot when I noticed a particular character from an episode of Captain Planet, who bared a strong resemblance to MD Geist. The character has only appeared briefly in one episode in the entire series. But when I saw him, I instantly thought "Is that MD Geist?" I mean look at him! He's got that same blond hairdo, same facial structure, and he's even wearing the same glasses that Geist wore in that one part in episode 1 where he takes down a whole fleet of Nexrum mecha. Hell, the resemblance is so uncanny that I thought that was actually him! Oh, and speaking of which, I neglected to say this. But one time when I was at the gym, I ran into someone who looked exactly like MD Geist; sporting the same body build, blond hair, ect. Now admittedly, I was a little spooked. But then I thought "Relax, MD Geist is just a fictional character. And the person who you ran into most definitely wasn't him despite the resemblance he shared with him. If it was, then God help us all."

Unnamed character belongs to DIC Entertainment and Ted Turner Productions.
MD Geist belongs to Koichi Ohata.
