Night of a Thousand Poisoned Darts/ Pnina Osguthorpe(ArtPearl)
She expected smooth, creamy,
As luxurious as silk.
She expected a flow, continuously,
As a river would sing.
The night has fallen so startling
As though the sky caved in.
All at once the thunders, lightning
Raining poisoned dreams.
Did she think she was still alive?
Morphed into that creature,
But still herself inside?
The darts pierced and invaded,
One by one,
In groups,
At once...
Her soul resigned and vacated.
Drip by drip,
In layers,
...
All at once.
