It was a typical day for Odette. She brushed her hair back into a bun and changed out of her pajamas and into a pair of shorts and a neon yellow tank top. She smeared some bright red lipstick on to contrast her strikingly blonde hair. She lined her eyes with thick black eyeliner and smiled, satisfied with what she saw in the mirror.
She ran downstairs, yelled hello to her mother, and left the house. Outside was beautiful, the sun shone down, the clouds stayed as tufts in the sky. She ran through the small streets of the city, searching until she saw Bay Ave. She turned onto it, skidding across the sidewalk and into the road. Thank god there was no traffic!
