Christmas LightsFireflies, flitting faintly through the night,  
Sparkling tails of anguished bright delight,  
Performing in perfect formation  Entertaining with indignation.  
 
The whips lash down upon their weary backs,  
Harsh and unnoticed electric cracks.  Flashing with the strain that they must keep  As the nation cheers, the flies… they weep.  
 
For lights, if stared into for long enough  Can blur the vision of even the tough.

Winter At The CapeThe leaves of red and yellow slowly fall,  As snow drifts gracefully on the branches.  The snowflakes that are wondrous and so small,  They fall all around, even on ranches.  The blanket of white covers the planet.  Pale snowflakes softly flutter to the ground.  Marvelous snow, who could ever ban it.  Even those on the dirt wish to be found/  As the storm ends, one more snowflake falls down.  Twirling and tilting while the wind blows on.  Perhaps in a while, it'll get to town,  And then once spring is here, it will be gone.  But for now, let use enjoy the landscape,  While the s Winter At The Cape

The man who fills our shoes'Twas silent that night  and all through the house  all my family was sleeping  including my mouse.   
Suddenly down front,  a scuffle and bang.  I stood up and ran,  "St. Nick's here" I sang.

Where Sun Meets the SnowWHERE SUN MEETS THE SNOW   
Young was the night  And the lights shimmer;  Everyone's such a sight  Brown, yellow, and white glimmer.   
"Ninong! Ninang!"  The children called;  Songs they sang  Even when cold.   
From house to house they go  With bottle crowns and empty cans;  Hoping to get several peso  They would even sing and dance.   
Christmas will be soon  And countdown has started;  Everyone's ready with their spoon  For noche buena to be parted.

God's ChristmasA reminiscent village ‘neath the towering forest pines,  sleeps softly in the flakes of heavenly sky.  They, gliding in their grace, simplistic beauty do define,  
the wonder in a simple awestruck sigh   
Within the central square, on benches ‘neath the barren boughs,  aged faces turn to catch the falling gems.  Remembrances are passed in simple prose twixt wrinkled mouths,  bright-eyed these ancient angels pray to Him.
