"Yes, why should I?" - that's what I was wondering about not so long ago. I simply did not care about the European Parliament or, to be more specific, the European Union. As an Austrian I just took being European for granted, being part of the union itself, for granted. I never thought about what that meant though, for me all this "political mumbo-jumbo" seemed so far away, almost unreachable.
It also seemed to me like all political issues the European Parliament was dealing with with more important issues than the "first-world problems" some Austrians might have.

this is really simple to make, and so yummy!

half a banana
2 teaspoons of honey
two whole slices of bread

firs, put the two pieces of bread into the toaster
and wait for it to pop. (time depends on how you like your toast)

spread the two pieces with the honey

chop the banana into circular slices and place on each slice

lastly place one slice on top of the other and hold for a minute
to glue the sandwhich firmly together.

Ich glaube, dass ich die neue deutsche Rechtschreibung erfunden habe. Lange bevor es sie wirklich gab, schrieb ich schon das Wort Brennnessel mit drei „n“ statt mit zwei. Damals brachte es mir einen roten Strich ein. Und dass verstand ich einfach nicht. Diese Schreibweise war einfach nur logisch. Ähnlich erging es mir auch mit anderen Worten ….
