Gears (season final)I decided to sprint to the targeted area, as it was quite a ways away. i was within 50 yards of the destination when my display lit up with a full spectrum in a quick flash. within an instant the patch i was wearing on my right eye was flung off, and i saw... what looked like a smudged spectrum of colors, and then i felt a blunt force.
when i regained my scenes my replaced eye wasn't working, i could hear a heavy static over my normal hearing, and my vision was blurry, but i was being dragged by the pegasus who had flown me in. she was still wearing her flight mask, and i could hear her.

KRU - Chapter three - page thirteen The trip flew right by as they were already approaching the planet. Even from space, they could see where the asteroid impacted and the effect it had on the planet.
The fleet of KRU ships all descended to the military base that had been built around the giant crater where the asteroid lay. It was fenced off for miles and was heavily guarded. There was only one road and one entrance onto the base as well. The rest of the fence had posts with soldiers every couple of miles.
Before Switch even left the ship he was already briefed by Luka about his mission, as much as they both despised having to talk to each other. Luka kept it quick and to the point but of course there wasn't much to the mission. Blow up the asteroid in a controlled manner. When the ships landed, Switch was introduced to the rest of his crew. It was a pretty weird buildingl the dining hall. The stairs from the big kitchen were leading to the deposit and from there they had no way to the rooftop. The only solution was to open the hatch and get out through it but the ceiling was way too high.
