You sat at your desk facing your computer,(eye c) eyes scanning web pages for something that maybe, just maybe, might put you in a good mood.
You brush your (hair c) bangs out of your eyes and rest your face on your hand, sighing all the while.
Your day had been going great up until now. In the morning your dad made you breasfast consisting of (various foods), and in the afternoon you went to see a movie with your friend (___).
You smile to yourself, knowing you are alone, and, quietly, you mutter out loud
" if only life were really like that..."
Another sigh.
"if only life was just like in the movie-"

Arun stared at the small piece of paper in his hands that he had found taped to the door of Skye's bedroom. Barely knowing anything about the English written language, Arun struggled with the words for a few minutes.
"Going... on a...." Arun paused at the next word, unsure of how to pronounce it, "Be.. back... later."
The burgundy-haired boy brought the note close to his face and focused directly on the word that he had skipped.
"Dah-tee?" Arun guessed. He repeated the word a few times out loud before he realized what it was.
"Date!!" He exclaimed.
He paused for a moment, and the happiness of accomplishing his goal of reading the note qu

"Veh~! Fratello, aren't you nervous about tomorrow?" Feliciano asked his elder twin.
"No, I don't give a damn about it. It's just school, don't be such a cry-baby about it. After all, it's our last year of high school," said Romano from the kitchen whilst standing infront of a giant pot of boiling water. They may have been twins but they were polar opposites. Romano was the more angrier and aggresive twin while Feliciano was the more carefree and wimpier one. The only physical differences they had were the curls on the sides of their heads. Feliciano's was on the left and Romano's was on the right.

The voice echoed from across the hall.
Jack looked up, arms dropping from yours
"Is that...your mom?"
"(First-name)? Who are you talking to?"
You quickly raise your head and turn it towards the door frame, which was now outlined by the hall way light on the other side.
Your heart began to beat as fast as a drum when you heard your mothers voice coming closer.

5am. You got up, got ready, and left for school. 10th grade was probably the worst thing that had ever happened to you, and you hated getting up every morning just to attend school. Winter Break was over and it was time for a new semester. Things were boring, the work was tiring, and you didn't really have any close friends to talk to. You knew a lot of people, but they weren't really close friends.
After the bell rang, you attended your 1st period, which was English. That class was always boring, in your opinion. With nothing but reading and writing left to do, you never cared for English. You sat in your seat, 2nd to last in the back, a

Come on, Aubrey's breathy voice whispered in the dark, its no big deal. What little space between them was then taken away when Aubrey closed the distance between the two of them; body against body, the only physical barrier between them the flimsy material of their clothes.
"Of course it's no big deal," Gabriel muttered back, echoing the other boy's sentiments, although his pounding heart said otherwise. He felt silly being the only one freaking out about the little game, while Aubrey, "as cool as a cucumber," didn't seem to care at all.

You opened your eyes to find you are in your bedroom.
Sitting up, your (eye c) eyes scan your surroundings.
Your room is iluminated my the moon, casting shadows against every wall.
You look over to your clock, which sat on the dresser opposite your bed.
3:00am.
Sighing, you slowly swing your legs off the side of your bed, begin to stand, and walk over to your window.
Placing your hands on the window sill, you look up to the moon.

It had been one week.

It surrounds me, not like a blanket or a warm embrace but how my own blood may. Everywhere. No matter how hard I try, how badly I pray, no matter how loud my voice rises into the abyss it does not go away. It worsens.

Summer school had already begun for the day, but the teacher was running late, leaving all the students sitting in their desks, bored and nothing better to do. Skye, of course, never looked forward to summer school, but now that he had company waiting for him at home, he hated it even more. People were chatting with their neighbors, but Skye simply waited gloomily in his desk. He happened to glance over at the boy sitting next to him.
It was Asher, a quiet boy. He was completely lost in a book, he only paused once to adjust his thick-lensed glasses. It was the book that caught Skye's attention.
"Mystical Creatures," was written across the

Skye gradually woke up. He blinked a few times, adjusting to the light. After glancing at his digital alarm clock, he realized he had slept in to almost noon. Skye wasn't surprised, Cyan and him had stayed out pretty late last night. Luckily for him, it was the weekend and he didn't have to worry about summer school.
The spot beside him was empty as usual. Cyan always had to have his early morning laps.
"Where does all that energy come from?" Skye thought as he massaged his aching shoulder. Besides being very fit, Skye still felt exhausted from last night.
Skye stumbled to the kitchen and prepared a glass of orange juice for himself. He op

On the same beach from yesterday, Skye and Cyan decided to walk along the shore the next morning.
"I'm sorry that it took me so long," Cyan explained, "Staying in shallow water for a long time is difficult. The water is always moving, its hard to stay in one place."
Skye nodded his head. He still had trouble believing that they were so unlucky. The reason they could not be reunited sooner was because they happened to not be at the beach at the same time, despite how often Skye visited. They simply had just kept missing each other. The surfer wished he had camped out on the beach, but he knew that would bring too much attention to himself.

Dear Ludwig,
I am sending you an "empty envelope" because I have no words to describe my feelings right now. That last letter it it just I can't say. I don't know what this "empty envelope" concept of yours is, so do you mind explaining? Anyway I Ludwig, I this is getting hard for me to write, and I'm in tears right now. You know that burning feeling that you get when you're so inspired, and it rises up from your chest to your throat? It's that rush of sensation that never fails to make a single soul smile. Yeah that feeling.
It's stricken me, and I have no words to describe myself right now. I am truly

Cyan was sitting on Skye's bed, and Skye was in front of him on his knees, applying bandages to the merman's abused body.
"He's so quiet...." Cyan thought as he fidgeted nervously. He hated the awkward silence.
Skye was nearly done when Cyan noticed that Skye's arm was bleeding as well.
"Oh, this?" Skye explained as if it were nothing, "I just cut it on some glass."
"Let me wash it for you." Cyan offered, but Skye stood up.
"I'll do it myself," He turned towards the bathroom, but Cyan grabbed Skye's arm.
"Let me do it," Cyan begged. Skye gave in and removed his ruined pajama shirt.
"He's feeling guilty," Cyan thought as he poured water

Walking hand in hand, Skye and Cyan returned from their date at the aquarium. As they approached the antique shop, they spotted Nagisa and Zain walking towards them from the opposite direction. Skye and Cyan were dressed in their winter clothes, but Nagisa and Zain mysteriously had hints of sunburn across their skin. Once they reached the front door of the shop, they froze in place as the realization hit them.

"....gone too?" Nagisa finished.
All four of them entered the shop, expecting the worst. Fortunately, the shop was just as they had left it. Gwen smiled at them from behind the register and greeted them as

Ludwig talked nonstop of his girlfriend. Her name was Agatha, and that name came up in his handwriting more than you thought it would. He didn't even think twice that it would probably hurt you, but you never blamed him. You never brought it up because you knew he only meant well. You just couldn't tell how to react to this anymore.
So, you did what a true friend does. You supported him through it all, especially with tips on what he should get her for her birthday, and where he should take her out on dates. You even gave him a prep talk on how to kiss well. You suddenly felt more dis

Skye somehow survived Gwen's angry rant from earlier when he and the four other boys waltzed into the antique shop. The two cousins eventually made a deal; the boys would have to work if they wanted to stay. Skye told her that they were going to be guests temporarily, but he had no idea how he was going to find the courage to kick them out. He wished that they were uber annoying or mean, so that he would not feel so guilty with wanting them to leave. However, besides Arun and Cyan's occasional fighting, they were mostly innocent and childlike. Especially Nagisa, who acted like a shy little girl, just as much as he looked it. And, of course, C

"Where did those three boys go?" Gwen asked just as Skye and Cyan were at the front door of the shop, ready to leave.
"Uh... they went home..." Skye lied, although it was partly true. He didn't make eye contact with his cousin so that she might assume he was too busy to talk.
"Home? But you told me they were homeless." Gwen continued to ask and one of her eyebrows rose in puzzlement.
"They bought a new home," Skye gave his cousin a poor lie, and Cyan turned away from Gwen to hide his unease.
"Surely not from the money they got from working from me! I barely paid them anything! They barely EARNED anything," Gwen brought her hands to her hi

It was the end of summer, so Cayucos was packed with tourists who wanted to see the beach one last time before returning to school and jobs. Children were dashing around, giggling happily, and their families closely followed behind. On this particular street, by the beach, were various places to pick up snacks such as ice cream, and other interesting and unique shops that sold crafts and antiques.
Skye was walking down this street, and certainly didn't fit in with the crowd. Their cheery, smiling faces were in contrast to his empty expression. He didn't look sad, just blank. His bare feet were still covered in sand from prev
