Jake cracked open his eyes in bed, [Name]’s head resting peacefully on his chest, going up and down as he breathed steadily. The comforter they shared was extremely warm, making him feel more relaxed than ever. He rubbed his eyes with his free hand which wasn’t around [Name], trying to wake himself up. He took his glasses from the bed-side table, slipping them on.

He looked outside the window, and saw that there were dark clouds forming in the normally bright skies, a few drops of rain starting to fall down.

After the major success that was his last movie he had been getting more recognition and you could barely turn a corner without seeing Matt Sanders plastered on a billboard or doing some sort of interview. Even though he had an apartment in Hollywood, he spent as much time as he could in his home in Huntington Beach. He always preferred his hometown because of its familiarity and proximity to the beach.
