Kurai put his hand to Kage’s neck, trying to feel for a pulse; but there was nothing. He felt his wrist, still nothing. Kagekao was gone.
Kurai laid the body on the ground gently, and then stood up. He looked up at Scollex, his one remaining eye blazed with hatred. Scollex was silent, but then started to laugh; he laughing at his pain.
Rapidly unsheathing his claws, Kurai ran towards Scollex.
“お前殺す!!” (I’ll kill you!!) He snarled ferociously, but Scollex merely stood there; watching as the enraged demon ran towards him.
Then Kurai noticed something that he wished he had noticed befo

The CrossingWith great trepidation I approached the road as many lights pushed and pulled through the lanes and I looked back, fearful for what might come from behind. I allowed the fever of my terror to overcome me by rushing into the street head on. Bright bolts of light struck in front of my eyes as the stress of my own weight started to buckle hard at my ankles knees. A cacophony of horns and sirens pounded my ears and the streetlights began to blur as I increased my pace, breaking through the pain barrier my joints had previously slammed into. The Crossing18 hours ago in Flash Fiction & Vignettes More Like This
In blatant disregard for all safety I jumped the island shrubbery in-between the roads and rolled hard on

I cringed as I slowly steer awake. There was a cool breeze hitting my face. My head Froze when I saw the night sky as I sat up. I stared at the moon in confusion, I wandered,This is different.. I pushed my body up to stand The forest was illuminated by the white moonlight. It gave it a beautiful yet eerie atmosphere. What lies beyond the grave ~introductionThere's rumors about this place, rumors about a curse, they say it started 30 years ago when a kid fell off the school, he was impaled on the school's flag pole, this child was an orphan, he was a strange child and was pretty disturbed, he had cuts up his arms and didn't speak to anyone in the class, he was small and chubby, with long blonde hair, the children used to stay away from him, no one actually ever heard him speak, some said that he couldn't speak. Some of the children had spread rumors that they had saw him jump of the roof, but they were just rumors, teachers insisted it was an accident but later knew better than to get involved in the gossip of the students...What lies beyond the grave ~introduction7 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Cannibal EmilyThere once was a girl named Emily, which who was shockingly born in a dumpster where neither of her parents showed up for her birth.Cannibal Emily23 hours ago in Short Stories More Like This
As years passed Emily grew more and more insane. This insanity might have came from the fact that the only way she could eat was through cannibalism. (She favored the fingers and buttock the most.) but I still think she has a grudge on Shaggy. At age 13 Emily finally decided she would go back to school; she has never liked being around living people but she was bored, and she is a crack head with crazy ideas when she is bored.
“What the sheet is that?” Emily demanded, pointing at a fellow class m

String TheoryHave you ever had an experience that suggested someone else was in your house, and just thought “I don’t wanna know” and left it? Sometimes, fear of the unknown just seems like the preferable option than facing a real, concrete danger. Normally it’s nothing, though. One time, the beeper function of my wireless housephone went off, when I was the only one home. It could only be called from the living room. Another time, I swear someone took some change from my desk. They’re all probably just slightly disconcerting tricks of the memory.String Theory3 hours ago in Short Stories More Like This

La Quatrieme Terminaison - An OFF Fan-FictionThe bat clattered to the ground with an echoing clang, its last victim only feet away, his blood gathering in dark pools that crept silently across the floor. The Batter seethed with his victory, huffing stifled laughter through the stillness of the air. He had bested the Judge. Student had triumphed over teacher. It was done. Though he yearned now for the switch that would shut it all OFF and and bring an end to this dirty, impure would, in his heart he knew that others still lurked here. Impure souls still wandered this landscape. He couldn't bring himself to flip that switch, knowing that these others still breathed. "Damn bitch; We told you to stop, didn't we?" the Proxy hovered over her, before grabbing her by the neck, hoisting her up into the air with both hands.
"Ack!" Rayvine choked. "Ah.... I.... I'm s-sorry.... I'm sorry, I-I'm sorr-ry.... P-please.... Don't k-" Rayvine convulsed, her head lulling back as he tightened his grip on her throat, compressing her wind pipe, making it hard to feel even the slightest bit of air she was able to get.
"Enough of your sorry's," he chuckled. "I'm tired of having to listen to your uncle. I'm going rogue, and this is to prove it."
He pulled her closer, tightening his grip even more. Rayvine's throat felt like it was being held in a vice, and her ears were ringing in alarm from the lack of oxygen.

Silent Hill: Shadows of the Past Part 1“Finally… home.” John thought as he opened the front door to his home. The home wasn’t actually his; he only rented a room in it. John is a part time student at the local university. But things aren’t going so well for John. No… they haven’t been well for a long time. John climbed the stairs and entered into his room. “Well... another day. Guess I’ll see what’s going on in the internet.” John thought as he sat down at his desk. John booted up his laptop, the Windows 7 screen glaring at him. John typed in his password and the desktop screen popped up. “Lets see if anythiSilent Hill: Shadows of the Past Part 12 hours ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Kat
Kat arrived at her secluded private high school later than she should have. Her little brother had woken her up late once again, and had left her to walk by her self to school. Of course he wouldn’t be late though because their mother would drive him to his pitiful elementary school. Kat had once gone to the same elementary school; it had six rooms, one room for each grade from kindergarten to fifth. Even though they lived in a city, this part of the city wasn’t as populated, but once you get to the center you could barley find room to walk sometimes. Almost everyone lived in the city.

Zim used his pak legs to cut the ropes on his hands and feet and got the cloth out of his mouth. He was about to sneak out as he heard Gex coming back and ran into hiding. Gex opened the door to the basement of the building and flicked the light on. She saw that Zim had gotten loose. "Damn it! Were are you, you little retch?!" Gex screeched. Zim tried to control his breathing as he hid in a large trash can. He saw that there was a decaying human head in the trash can with him. He had to clamp his hand over his mouth as not to scream in fear. Gex searched the room for Zim, snarling the whole time. Zim finally couldn't hold it any more and leapt out of the can screaming. Gex whipped around to see him and snarled happily. She lunged at Zim grabbing him. She held him up by his throat holding the large knife to his head.
