Applejack's Dress "Applebloom! Get down here," Applejack screamed as she saw the tattered remains of her Gala gown.

The young filly slowly made her way down the stairs and was cowering with every step. She had never seen her sister this angry before, and she was terrified.

"What were you thinking? Ya ruined mah dress. Rarity's gonna kill me." Applejack turned her gaze to her baby sister and was stunned to see the filly cowering at the foot of the stairs crying. She suddenly felt disgusted with herself, "Applebloom. C'mere."

My Thoughts on ApplejackLet me get something out of the way right now. I liked Applejack when I first saw her in the first episode. This is something that needs to me made very clear because, under normal circumstances, I'm not a particular big fan of stereotype characters. When I say that Applejack is a stereotype, what I mean is that she very much seemed to embody many of the traits that people have of those in the Southern United States. The accent, the farm, the big family, the hat. If it wasn't for Applejack's more redeeming qualities I'd have probably dismissed her.

Two young stallions walked the fields with plows in tow, while a mailpony dragged in shipments of seeds and tools, and a couple more ponies were visible amonst the apple trees. Adding to the general bustle was a visitor to the farm who gingerly stepped out of the sky, looked around, and opened the gate into the main homestead area. A filly, not quite yet a mare, with a light green coat and straw-colored hair and baskets strapped to her saddle had been trotting through the area, and noticed the visitor first. Why Applejack Is UnderappreciatedBased on my brief experience with the brony community, Applejack seems to be the least popular of Mane Six. She's the only one who is called a background pony, albeit jokingly. But why do so many bronies find her uninteresting? They give reasons, but most of them don't add up to anything substantial.

"She has no flaws"

I don't quite understand how people can't see Applejack's flaws, but the most likely reason is that her flaws aren't as obvious or exaggerated as those of her five friends. They do exist, though. You just have to pay attention.
