There were many things to witness - an eye necklace, long earrings, sweet-smelling perfume – she was only interested in the mirror, how it reflected her image as so miraculously beautiful. There were designs staining the sides of the wooden frame like henna on the hands of and Indian woman and the glass was chipped up on top, fine-grained wood left in abeyance.
