So cold that it stops your blood flow  
The sun never shines for the Congo  
Like a starved nation of many invasions  
Where fire burns like scars of sorrow  
Forever lasting won't heal tomorrow  
Famine incarnate sitting side by side  
With bloody machetes of Rwandan genocide  
And Ugandan children abducted and trained  
Marching forward like an army of slaves  
Like shadows, no purpose and aimless

Dark DayAll I want is her warmth.  Yet I cannot have it.  I've been cursed to never get her warmth.  So now I walk alone cold alone and confused at the world.  My mind is scattered all over the place.  My rose is slowly dying.  After it dies it will fade away just like me.  As I fade away what will be left of me?  Will she be able to find if I faded away?  As I fade it will be like I was never there to begin with.  My name will be nothing worth remembering.  With these thoughts in mind and a heavy heart I still continue to search for her.  Have I gone mad?  Or is my love for her that st Dark Day
