A Butterfly EncounterI stroll through the forestA Butterfly Encounter50 minutes ago in Free Verse
The sun shining down through the high canopy
The day was warm and lovely
The stroll was relaxing and calming
The shining sun warm on my skin
Soon I notice a batch of flowers nearby
Each of different colors and shapes
I walk over to them
I kneel down to view their beauty
Suddenly I see something flutter among the flowers
I look to see it was a monarch butterfly
It lands on a small yellow flower among the batch
It open and closes its wings so slowly and gently
My eyes widen with amazement
It stays on the flower for a minute
Then it flies off suddenly
I feel it on my forehead after that
I chuckle with excitement a

forming the mighty storms once more.
Rain is splashing down
like a gift from the Mother,
to the thirsty earth below.
Every raindrop has a cycle

forming the mighty storms once more.
Rainbows arch the sky
as the rain clouds dissipate
rain returns to the water's source.
Every raindrop has a cycle
rising into the sky to begin again
forming the mighty storms once more.
Roll in the streams,
to the roaring rivers
tumbling into the mighty sea.
Every raindrop has a cycle
rising into the sky to begin again
forming the mighty storms once more.

Immortal TearsAll around there is peace, but it is a peace so serious and sorrowful that none may rest easy. The world seems to stop; she stops and waits for what is to come. She waits for what she can feel is about to come.Immortal Tears6 hours ago in Free Verse More Like This
The leaves have already fallen to the ground, but even if they still had been clinging to their branches not one of them would now be moving. Now they lay still on the ground. The world it seems is holding it’s breath; she holds her breath as she waits for what is coming.
Clouds had already covered the sun, but now everything grows darker. It all grows darker as though the sun were the eye of the world, and it had now closed it’s eye. The world closes it’s eye like a lady that feels a great sorrow.
A flash of lightning laces across the black clouds, searing the air with its violent anger. The lightning strikes the ground with a loud clap of thunder. The world shakes at the impact that she receives. She shudders as though the thunder were a great sob that

Sound of SilenceDo you listen to the sound of the rain?Sound of Silence7 hours ago in Free Verse More Like This
As it amplifies that which silence cannot do itself.
Do you touch the feelings of serenity?
When it finally becomes tangible.
As the rain amplifies what little sanity
I have to this very day
Leading astray any worries
And washing them all away.
Listen to the rain
As it tells it’s story to you
Listen to it close
As it whispers where it’s been.
From a giant mountain you can only imagine
To the gentle rolling hills,
Listen to the silence.
Because it’s what the rain is trying to let you see through it to.
Nature is a window
To that which we cannot see.
Nature is the furnace
Heating us

The smell of my desire
Once it took over control
All you can do is watch
Destructive flames
Burning in hell
Raising me up
And bringing me down again
As the flames go out
And only ashes are left
You’ll find my soul deep down
Lost in desperation

RapeThere is something hideously cleverRape11 hours ago in Free Verse More Like This
about watching television outside.
It is possibly the ultimate defiance.
Over there, rebels have flipped off officials,
they have fornicated with machines
and they have worn shirts like flags.
But here, revolutionaries have
ripped the binding dress off of mother earth
they have stuck their thirsty tongues
in the magnetic air of steel and wind
and they have swallowed the sovereign
waters of Calypso.
Gaia could not weep,
because her throat was plugged
by the sharp middle finger
of electric sockets and wires.

Dignified When WetHey Clouds, floating in the sky,Dignified When Wet12 hours ago in Free Verse More Like This
Come close, drop rain,
Wet this ground that's so dry.
I see you there, so far above,
Think you're so dignified because we can't touch.
The holders of Life, nature's artist in the air,
Show me a thousand shapes before you disappear.
People often ask you to leave,
And give room for the Sun.
But I say Stay,
And share the skies with none.

Doesn't matter though, old friend
Your presence is always welcomed

Only your loving embrace

one prey in their pellets:
mice. These are owls. If
