Her Diary is Written in FlowersTen thousand memoriesHer Diary is Written in Flowers8 minutes ago in Free Verse More Like This
Caught in the pages
Her diary was written in
Silken petals and curling leaves
Scented of springtime
Flourishing gardens
The gentle process she knew so well
Allowed her to tell her favourite stories
Secretly
Each flower meticulously labelled
And pressed with the greatest care
She smiles every time she opens it
Because it is where her fondest memories lie
Hugged by parchment
Sun dried
Covers decorated with lace
Ribbons bind those pages
Hold together her botanical story
Sunflowers bring thoughts of
Summer sandals
Grasses remind her of hiking trails
Her carnations are from days
Spent quietly reading
Her roses are from night

Doing my own thing
I don’t like to be perfect
And proper
That’s not fun
And the more I copy
The more I may be like the others
And that’s not me,
That’s them.

You get whatever you wish
If you want it
You have to have it
I can’t get what I need to live
Why are the pretty so lucky
And the ugly
Has to live a life
That is hard
And wish to get what they need
Not what they really want.

By the water's edge
On silver waves
In crystal depths
Her sweet laughter rings out
Chiming melody of innocence
Under cotton clouds
In feathery wisps
Frosting the cerulean
Like lazy, swirling cream
Casting gentle shadows across the land
And on the lilac bushes that sway
The whispers of the atmosphere
Make them dance
And match her every movement
Freedom graces her soul
With the purest creativity
It is the blessing of her young mind
As she sprints through the knee-high grass
Eyes raised wonderingly to the sky
Chasing dreams and iridescent fantasies
As they hover just beyond her determined reach
On fleeting dragonfly's wings

I would surely hit the floor
In shock
That is was my time
I may not be dead yet
But would be scared to know I will be the one to die next.

A Thousand WordsThey say that a picture is worth a thousand words.A Thousand Words27 minutes ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
But they're wrong.
A picture isn't worth a thousand,
Nor is it worth a million.
A picture is worth more than any of those,
Yet at the same time worth so much less.
A picture is made to convey a story.
Whether you realise it or not.
You can try to put a number,
But you'll find it useless.
Only you can find the story,
Drawn, painted, pasted, or baked in.
Don't let them tell you that it's only worth a thousand.
Because a thousand only gets you so far in a story.
Don't let them cut you off in the beginning.
Make them wait until the end, when your picture is finished with its story.

Enjoys life to the fullest and is very friendly
Makes a good first impression
Strong-hearted and diligent
To many, she's a fan-made voice actress
On the other hand, she can be as happy as a school girl
Not to mention she's friends with a lot of people
Even now, people come to hear her sing
Whatever's the case, everyone enjoys what she does
Even me. I'm a big fan of her voice work.
And she's got big dreams. Dreams that are as big as the stars.
Victory is in her path. That much is clear because…
Elegance is there as you see her as Gemstone Weave.

I feel so wrote out
I know I’m not
But when I pick up the pen
My mind just goes blank again
you say just write,
But why
When I don’t know what to do,
So let’s just see what you can do for now.

My grandfather showed me the bottle,
That held his riches.
When he passed,
His bottle did to,
Right into my tiny hands.
And slowly,
Ever so slowly,
I filled it with my riches.
Every cent, from every day,
Spent upon the bottle,
Trying to sate its thirst.
Eventually The Watchers noticed,
Our intimate symbiosis,
And tried to separate us.
We up and left,
The bottle and me,
To find a place where a man and his bottle can be free.
We traveled far,
We traveled wide,
Years flew by, without a care.
It was a merry old time,
The bottle and me,
But soon it came time to end.
It happened quick, I never knew it,
That when I spied th

The scars that hurt so much
Because between each dog-eared bend
Are the stains of blood on skin

The Cat and MeThe cat and meThe Cat and Me45 minutes ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Just the cat and me
There's no one there but the window pane
And the darkened streets
There's no one there
There's no one to see
Except the cat and me
There's no one there but the flickering streetlight,
Nagging at my eyes
There's no one there but an old pear,
That I refuse to eat
There's no one there but that slab of meat,
Hanging in the store
The cat and me
Just the cat and me
There's no one there
There's no one to see
Except the cat and me.

OnceI asked youOnce46 minutes ago in Free Verse More Like This
to sit and wait
But that wasn't what you
Could take
Your legs shriveled
In the ice cold weather
You stud up
Until you could feel steps
On solid ground
You wonderd away
In the sloping snow
Saying you'll come back
When I came back
Their was a howl
The howl of winter
The sign of December
And the crow
Of darkness
I wondered about
Looking for you
But the last of you that remains
Is the crackling of bones
And the memories
We once shared.

That’s when I get to see it
Seep through your pores
- pure and untouched -
I do nothing.
I wring with you.
The cloth of your body
I do not twist – nor beat your tune -
I hum in my own – the cure of your oil
Spilling like snakeskin to my charm -
My delivering hands do not touch
And still it steeps and sheds
Attraction’s force exposing all of our guts
And leaving all of our blood in spiraling
Serpentine form – separate to twist and coil.

in the field of mirrors
Reflecting the tears
of the moon and the stars
A place of no light
of dead dreams and cold night
Where nothing lives
where nothing breathes
but black roses
The land is watered by starlit tears
and black roses are planted
by the immortal fear
That lives in those that had dreams so great
but let them all die,
shocking even ol' fate
Their pure waters grew tainted
their clear eyes became blurred
Nothing was left
nothing grew
but black roses
This field is a graveyard
where forgotten dreams are put to rest
These mirrors that reflect
show what is to happen next
In them you see,
are black roses to be

My Garden of DreamsMy nights are plagued will nightmares now due to eating in the night. My Garden of Dreams1 hour ago in Free Verse More Like This
This isn't like me at all, I don't like being full of fright!
All these nightmares are brand new, and how they torment me so!
If nightmares plague me in the night, then wherefore shall I go?
To dream, to slumber, with all my might,
but fairy tales will never be told.
Among the garden that holds my dreams,
I cannot sleep peacefully,
for the garden is now made of ash,
and blood is the only thing that caresses me.
When I fall asleep peacefully,
I believe I'm safe in my garden of dreams,
but sadly I'm mistaken once more,
and there's only blood surrounded the shores.

Toi qui cueilles une cerise des champs
Donne-moi ce parapluie et élève-toi !
Quand, frissonnant, cet ultime taiji
Déserté de vérités fuyantes entendra parler
De mon enfance hâtivement fourbue
Tu laveras éternellement les draps !
Il attendra que justice suive
Les chevaux lourds
Faisant apprendre la chimie
Caractéristique aux jalousies.
Le jour tombera contre.
Aux lumières bouillonnantes,
L'irruption cachée a volé le corps.

J'appelle puissamment les guerres ratées
Des capitaines marchant lentement.
Enfant, j'avais des apriori pour pouvoir
Dessiner sans mal les hippopotames.
