among ages of books
wearing away at the edges
with dusty and crumbling demeanour
that seems to berate us for blinking
though no one has asked me
keeper of this lock
and its key
what lies behind the door
Problems of the WorldI miss dealing with the problems of the world like they were mine -Problems of the World2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
It was a unique feeling, like I actually owned something,
Like something cared to bother me instead of the rest of them.
A unique feeling targeted at a wide audience, though, doesn't care
And couldn't possibly know that it was helping along another
Lost and broken soul on this lost and broken road - oh,
How those issues saved my life is quite a story; perhaps I shall tell it.
