I'm probably not the best son
But, thank you for what you have done
This day will be for only you
The one who watched me as I grew
You always packed my lunch for school
And cooked food that would make me drool
You would always kiss me good night
When I was scared you hugged me tight
This is my appreciation
From me, your little creation
Thank you for being my mother
I wouldn't want any other

This hopeful act,
Made us both equaly sad
Suddenly seperating us,
You from the family you loved so much,
for me,
from God's imagenation,
the best two sister's I'd ever had,
and from the friends I will never forget,
but it only make me love them even more.
On this day,
a speacial event had accourd.
The heart of my sister,
which was forever intertwinded with mine,
started beating.
She could breath,
saying encouraging things,
to everyone around her.
She could think,
and work out the most horrible problems,
between people and herself.
She could act,
and leave people awed,
and never forget her wonderful actions.

When everyone's growing up
People change around me
While I remain
A pup
Though happily I noticed
That I don't need to grow
That boys will be boys
That's all I need to know
I'm not the only one
Who's childish
Really, so are you
The people all around me
For them it's nothing new
I'm happy that I can be like this
Not caring if the world would fall
Not caring about the economy
Not caring about it all
I like to play
Don't really care
And sing the loudest song
'Cause in my heart
I truly know
You'd never say I'm wrong

Of All the HardshipsOf All the Hardships7 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Of all the hardships, must I be the one?
Of all the hardships, must I be forced to learn?
Of all the hardships, must my enthusiasm be none?
Of all the hardships, must my fate turn?
Of all the hardships, I was told frequently,
Of all the hardships, I was told this was what life is.
Of all the hardships, can my life go equally?
Of all the hardships, the harshest must be this.
Of all the hardships, may I take a break?
Of all the hardships, can life let me breathe?
Of all the hardships, this one always let me ache.
Of all the hardships, if only I could be…
Back home…

For the duration of the ride
All of a sudden my youngest brother
Falls against my side
He's sitting in the middle seat
Just to be close to me
A perceptive choice, for now I find
He's fast asleep, you see.
His dirty hair warms my ribs
And his eyes are tightly closed
It's been awhile, by his easy breath,
Since he began to doze.
Not only that, is Eli
In the farthest seat from me
Finally getting the rest he needs
Leaning on Max's knee.
His head has tilted sideways
And he's begun to snore
I can take off his crooked glasses
If I reach a little more
But I decide I shouldn't
