        A white object caught my eye as I was pacing thoughtfully on the shore of my lake. It fluttered down like a wounded dove; I snatched it out of the air before it reached the water’s surface.

My Love, My DarkMy Love, My Dark.   
I sit, buried in the dark,  Desperate for the love  That warms this poor heart.  The only comfort, a lover’s simple words,  That cannot satiate my need for warmth,  As from my sweet lover’s touch.   
Yet I do feel, a creeping, trembling touch.  Perhaps from a creature of the dark-  Lonely as I, desperate for warmth.  Is this a proclamation of love?  I do not need words.  Only the promise to not steal my heart.   
It is not this heart,  That leads me to the touch  Of one who speaks no wooing words.  I cling to this Dark,  Fo My Love, My Dark

a vampires lustBlood paints the ground like scarlet rain.  Cold chills pierce the trembling soul's veins.  Red eyes search for weakening flesh.  I all too human in an in human place.  Quivering rain drop eyes frantically look for sound.  As darkness encloses me in its terrifying grip.   
 
Hatred and fears darkness pulse through his wicked smile.  Blood pouring from my heart like chocolate.  Sweet and pure as red, not white.  Cold ground splashed with sticky warmth.  Black hair, black heart, black soul, vampire, inhuman.  The demon quivering in human form before me.

CaressUpon her skin my harden fingers do dance,  The roughened diamond to her polished aquamarine,  In her eyes I see the stars,  In her kiss I see the sun,  Nimbly does my hand caress,  Upon her softest dress.   
And that I do envy that dress,  I watch it when she does dance,  Every one of her loving curves it does caress,  Upon her fair skin earrings of aquamarine,  Dazzling in the rays of sun,  Shining like personal stars.

The Flow
Ideaswriting bad poetry about the new crush  just thinking of them gives the heart a rush  blood goes to the head, or maybe it's from  a simple glance from them leaves you stunned   
yes, these are things that everyone feels  but at first it doesn't even seem that they could be real  the power in emotions, they leave you blind  to the other alternatives that you'll never find   
reality burned, at best it's fried  greasy chicken after church on a sunday night  things so obvious but you just can't see  oblivious to what is and what will never be

Miasmata Miasmata (3/26/03)  
 
We lie, we in a soft embrace entwined,  bound in blankets still as warm as cinnamon.  Spent perfume and smoky miasmata  from burnt-out cigarettes still linger, still  permeate the night air, ever-swirling,  deep in blackness, rich and dark as velvet.   
I softly stroke your face and feel the velvet  supple sleeping life-force here entwined,  longing again to swim in the swirling  oceans of your love.  Whirlpools of cinnamon  sweeten the bland and silent black which still  hangs, floating in spinning miasmata.
