Agony in front, jubilation behind.
If you want to be happy forget all the pain
Just move on, and your troubles are slain.
Slip to the passenger side, let God take the wheel
He'll take you along and help you to heal.
He has a plan if you'll wait and see
He wants you to be happy and free.
As do I if you'll listen close
Sometimes I fear I want it the most.
I hope there's others who want your freedom
But not at the price of rising to the father's kingdom.

of skin, I swear, in that moment, she wanted to let me in.
I bit my tongue until I tasted blood.
She whispered into the air, "Babe its just not enough."
I cried and wallowed in my own self pity until I remembered New York City.
So I packed my luggage and drew out a plan then I turned my back on her and ran.
She left me a letter when I returned I was so angry I wanted it burned but alas my
heart took control and as icy as her skin was the letter read like falling snow.
