A Storm is ApproachingA Storm is Approaching2 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms
I've kept quiet,
Tip-toed for days,
Fearing a riot,
Might go ablaze.
Erupt it will,
In a day's time or two.
Colossal damage,
Will inevitably ensue.
I'm caught in between,
Who I want to be,
& the person my parents,
Have envisioned for me.
I lie and constantly cheat,
Deceive the best I can.
At nights, I silently weep,
To free the person I am.
I patiently await,
My Impending Doom,
For the storm may abate,
Only till the Monsoon.
I've kept quiet,
Tip-toed for days,
Fearing a riot,
Might go ablaze...

The Salesman (Poem)The Salesman (Poem)9 months ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Hear no, speak no,
See no evil or any
Such thing; though
The taste is tempting.
There are many
Others; a deep
Many that plenty
Sold their soul to me.
I've met men
Who cannot find
The precious end
That escapes them.
I've met eyes
That cry tears
Of empty lies
And sweet release.
Faithless fools
That struggle to
Prevail; spools of
Fate will bind them.
Ancientpower, have
You heard of me?
Perhaps not; slaved
Spirits hear no evil.
Black hands and
Black arms caress;
You may stand
Against and with me.
Invisible to you,
For if you saw me,
Then I, through
Your eyes see evil.
Your fear is vain;
You are safe with me.

Fade to BlackThis life so endless, only a void.Fade to Black1 year ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Your pain draws tears, silencing the noise.
Love is lost, hatred runs unbound.
Survival is key, no hope can be found.
Too much to bear, I hang my head.
Fade to black, wake up dead.
Use your illusion, define what is real.
Take from me, my life you steal.
Eager to please, I smile genuine.
Gladly you bruise, I bleed once again.
I cant imagine a life where you live.
Take from me everything, finally you give.
Soulless is my stare, my eyes so cold.
Blood on my hands, the abuse has grown old.
At last it ends, this story I have told.
Cleansed of your sins, this chapter is closed.

The Enemies (Poem)The Enemies (Poem)1 year ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Once upon a time that wasn't so upon,
There were two foolish, angry men
Who hated there wasn't much then
To hate and wish that all was gone.
Human nature led them down
Errant paths that were ridden with
Caustic thorns and toxic myths
And caused them both to drown.
There were two; and one stood tall
With veins of salt and words of ice,
A gifted charm that wore a price
And lost him in the fray's final fall.
The other wore his temper around
His neck in a ring of gracious fire,
And it so came to preside his ire
To turn and return him to the ground.
There has never been such ill will
As between these spiteful foes.
Countless vie

Changethe wall papers peeling,Change3 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
it's nearly gone,
[what memories it holds]
only to be torn away,
no matter how much you beg for it to stay,
inching lower each day,
such a painful process,
[to watch all your hard work fade away]
as it crumbles before you,
nothing can be done about the issue,
no tape will solve,
it was just a matter of time,
[fate always has wicked plans]
you can't run from it,
can't chase away this culprit,
as everything comes undone,
strange thoughts come to mind,
[what did I do wrong]
the answers are just out of range,
eventually realization dawns upon you,
things can change...

The Other SisterWe were supposed to meet in the JanuaryThe Other Sister3 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Of a million miles ago,
I still sneeze sometimes from the cold I caught
As I waited for you in the snow.
They gave no name to your faceless face
Just an unformed hand to hold,
I held that hand and I always will
Even when I'm grey and old.
Is it wrong to love until it hurts,
To love the unhuman form?
Is it wrong to miss what I never had,
Something that was never born?
I can't deny your brief existence
Although they say I should forget,
A million miles on I still say goodnight
To the little soul I never met

Becoming One with the WallStarved cheeks frame eyes that look too soft to be real.Becoming One with the Wall2 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
Fingers pulling at the fabric of the shirt.
As if to somehow make the world not see you.
Little imperfections you wish you couldn't see and feel.
Every day you hide in the shadows of others.
Losing sight of what your own shadow looks like.
Trying to blend in, you diminish all your greatest qualities.
Making your self a copy no longer distinguishable from another.
All the things that made you, you are slowly stripped away.
Until another girl stands in your place, one that we know longer know.
You no longer have to worry about people noticing you.
For you look like every other

Amuto is love
Filled the skies above
Lock and key
Too early to see
They were sealed by fate
Love waits
Trouble arrived
But they still survived
Friends yet still enemies
Close yet faraway like seas
Denial is the first step
Only leaving you with a debt
Lie to do what you must
Only leaving those trust into dust
Hurt to protect
Leaving those you've met
Hurt with anger
Only making you wonder
Love still awaited
For they are fated
Lock and key
Now able to see
The reason for the bad
The reason to make those sad
Know your true feelings
The ones you kept denying
Break open the cage
You are not too late

Fear me, O Vampire Hunter,
for I am the Creature of the Night that you seek.
Natural hate lusters in me,
for you wish for my heart to cease its beat.
Tonight is my time, for the moon shines,
and the sun has hidden its glow.
Arrows on back, eyes steady,
steady eyes as your bow is readied.
You polish your bullet, and ready your wood,
feet planted, courage gleaming; Bold.
You take a step forward, I cast my Fangs,
and show you why my Blood Runs Cold.

And built her walls,
According to the ink,
And unfeeling walls.
She cut her hair,
To match her vintage heart,
She pulled it all out,
As she tore the pedals apart.
"One more he loves me,
Two more I run."
There are infinite pedals,
No stopping once begun.
As the wind blew in,
it stole her colors away,
Leaving room for deficiency,
And cardiac delay.
She knew enough to leave the pages,
Well worn and tear stained,
Never the same for his shoulder,
Such lessons were ingrained.

TraumweltIch fühle ihren Atem,Traumwelt2 months ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
ich höre ihre Stimme.
Ich will nicht mehr warten,
ihr Bild beraubt mich meiner Sinne.
Durch sie fühle ich mich lebendig,
fühle wieder Freude in meinem Leben.
Meine Gefühle so inbrünstig -
was habe ich nicht alles dafür gegeben?
Schlaftrunken wende ich mich zu ihr,
will ihr streichen durchs dunkle Haar.
