Day to night, dark to light,
Fall the sands of time.
Let the years like the gears
Of a clock unwind
In your mind walk through time
Back to better days.
Memories, like a dream,
Wash your tears away.
Like a star in the sky darkness can't reach you.
Light the night, joy is light 'til the new dawn.
---
Cast away your old face
Full of gloom and spite.
With this mask I will ask
To borrow your light.

This beautiful house
I love this house with beautiful doors
With locks
I love this house with beautiful windows
With bars
I don't love the room
The room with the yellow wallpaper

Can't write

My husband says I must rest
They all say I must rest
So I rest in this room
This room with the yellow wallpaper

i visited him every day,

somehow, he would still be there,
week after week,

Lost all my pride
I know I've thought of suicide
And maybe those thoughts were right
And now I'm losing my mind
How could I have been so blind?
When you needed me I can't believe I didn't try
I was gone and so clueless and I let you die
The end of your perfect book
Was all that they knew
When you left us behind
All I did was cry
Oh, I felt so deprived
There goes my only guide
There's just so much
That I want to say
That I miss your touch
But you've gone away
No one else even knew
What we both knew was true
When the chance came all I did was withdrew
I thought you had time left, that it'd take a few

Fire and Ice (Poem)Fire and Ice (Poem)5 days ago in Free Verse More Like This
Between the glimpse of lonely feathers,
Airborne to strike out from its tethers,
Stands the final mountain of courage
Between the hero and his rival.
Stifle the tension between the studious
Boys; Ice and fire collide in a furious
Snap of frozen flame—one is too cold,
But the hero is consumed in the heat.
They reflect, the most colorful of mirrors,
Red and green with passion and tremors
Of wars driven into the bloody past,
For the past does not become a hero.
The hero instead becomes his angry past,
And the rival not far ahead, shifting fast
Into the unmistakable chains of nemeses,
Clawing with his raging, lonely feathers.

Put the head in the basket
Let it run down the stream
Begin to create the casket
For your one and only dream
It was you that sealed your fate
Lost in time roaming the field
Inside you were consumed by hate
The time has come to break the seal
Something is out there waiting
As our fire dies on its own
Distant sounds of the banging
We become no longer alone
Now I'm finding my family
Their lives have all been spent
Now I'm finding my friends
Writhing in their own agony
The hellish unadorned march on
I make my way trying to escape
I don't get far as they sound the alarm
No longer in charge of my own fate
Something is out ther

That would take them to the sky:
A maelstrom of musty rabbits choking the clouds in the anticipation of corkscrewing wind.
The left-for-dead house hunched alone on the wide flat plain,
With nothing save a few spare, withered heads of grain whispering about it.
The dim scaled wings of moths echoed to the tune of the house’s sighs,
Attracted only by the dim light of a lone flickering lamp—
Throwing its meager life against the grimed walls of glass,
Not terribly eager to only attract the dull drone of moths.
Cracked bindings stood loosely together,

I refuse to believe
That the purpose of our hearts
Is just to end up broken
That it will all unweave
That we can never be together
In the warmth of our love
As our hearts beat as one
That it will last forever
In love's sweet sacrifice
Lost in an eternal cry
Here is where I lie...
I don't want to ever say goodbye
Looking up at the darkened sky
Asking myself a longing why
Ending my dreams in a broken sigh
I don't want to ever say goodbye
Oh, I will give this another try
Ever amazed for once in my life
Oh, the least you could do is try
Is to be a part of my life
Please, try to be closer
As I fall into your arms
Please, don'

An unexpected boy
stumbled upon an alien device,
his curiosity activated it,
attatching to his wrist
he transformed into a red-hot hero,
but panicked and set a forest ablaze
he kept this a secret from the others,
but they found out
and were amazed.
Eventually this child,
gifted with the watch
figured out it's mechanics,
and put evil to it's demise.
He gained friends and enemies,
Saved lives,
got fame.
He met the creator, Azumuth,
The little alien was pleased.
But he never told him how to work the watch,
leaving the child to figure out the rest.
He also learned another thing;
The Omnitrix was the device's name.

Needing and Wanting
Waiting and silently crying
Looking closely you can see her broken wings
They've been savagely ripped

every time your lips touch mine
it feels earthy, smoky, bone dry
clinging to the inside of my mouth
a ghost-dusting of crumbs that
texture my tongue with the taste of sin
familiar isn’t it?
your fingertips graze my scars
they climb each raised keloid and
descend into the valley between my thighs
you ask if the scars are new and
i want to tell you the story of each cluster
how they falter and fade with age
but i stumble and spit
my mouth is stuffed with dirt.
yet, i ask you to bruise me harder
to stir up the black and purple storm
that lives under my tacky wallpaper skin
it’s not the flesh that i worry about.

I begin my journey of words, words and words-
With In the Name of my Beloved God,
The most Generous and most Merciful-
A raconteurs most precious amulet.
I speak of my God,
In every breath of sweet air-
At the slightest sign of despair-
I speak of His Messenger-
In respectful and beautiful verses-
and in each well-guided behaviour.
I speak of His religion,
Without a hint of hesitation-
Steadfast-with an unswayed submission.
And when raised eyebrows-
Question His very existence-
I would proudly declare-
That He is eternally embedded in here-

Do you want to sleep? Let me sing a song, this pain is awfuly
Affecting me, I barely can open my eyes, seeing the ground becoming darker. "

That we'll live together, till the world ends, till the demons will awake
They just want to take me apart from you, please don't go master. "
