Chapter Three: Blissian's Clutch
Uriel regretted the fact that she hadn't gone to get a heavier pair of shoes. Even Purshk seemed to be dancing on top of the sands, wincing lightly as his paws came in contact.

The saddle Uriel had ridden on was hung on a group of pegs off to the side.
Uriel hissed as her feet came in contact with the sand, dancing on her feet in an attempt to kee

Author: Colin Wilson
This book was pegged as a "must read" by my husband… However finding it second-hand here in South Africa was anything but easy (considering that his previous copy grew legs). All the copies in our local libraries had been nicked (as have nearly all occult-related books in public areas), so I decided to play a waiting game as Wilson's books have a habit of turning up in second-hand shops when you least expect it. I was not to be disappointed. I eventually pounced on my well-worn copy not too long ago and could finally see why this book was worth stealing.
The first thing that impresses me about Wilson

A gruff voice echoed in the damp alley, "Idjut brownie! Yeh damn near got us bofe caught!" The mammoth silhouette directed his words at the little creature tucked under his arm. The brownie glared up at his captor with arms crossed and sharp eyes narrowed.
"Pardon me," he spat squeakily, "For merely attempting to mess with the fish merchant's rude son a little! It's hardly my fault that his cat caught sight of me! Now put me down, you slimy reptile! You have no business flinging me around like a rag-doll!"
