an uncharted land, waiting to be discovered.

an untamed river yet to be named,
laid forth before his questing spirit.
he was the solitary envoy,
a master at discovery,
occupying with permission the humid lush rainforest
and quenching the desert thirst.
determined, he left nothing in darkness
uncovering every crook and crevice
and bathing them in light and heat.

Uncharted: Applejack's journey- Chapter 1'Come on AJ, get up. It was just a little ole train crash. You've been in worse. Now get up!' thought Applejack as she writhed on the ground. Sharp shards of gravel were digging into her skin as rolled onto her stomach, wincing as a bolt of agonising pain shot up her arm from her left wrist. Opening her eyes, she saw just how much devastation the train crash had actually caused; trees all around her were ablaze or completely torn out of the ground after the carriages of the train had crashed into them. Applejack got to her feet, instinctively placing her hand over the bloody wound in her side. With a groan she gripped the shard of metal thatUncharted: Applejack's journey- Chapter 17 months ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Those oceans that disappear into black
Interminable, impenetrable blackness
That perfect jewel of uncharted destination
The dank bottoms of the sea remained
In their deepest shrouded secrets untouched
No pebbles, nor stones, were known soft or rough
The waves devoured all thought of discovery
Through harshness the waters may darken
And thus the waves shall spur temper
The ocean will rock in the cradle of earth
And grow gray with the sorrow, the anger
Yet such blue will simmer over glassy seas
As gulls coo and glide overhead
The surface is cool, calm and relieved
Beauty that paints summe

Captain Thomas McBride stood on the forecastle of his ship, The Falcon. The moonless sky and the black water made the English town of Gloucester gleam in the darkness from his vantage point at sea. He inhaled deeply, slowly. He was no fool. For a pirate to sail into the heart of England was more than dangerous. The slightest wrong move could send him and his entire crew to the hangman’s noose before dawn.
Thomas shook his head slowly. He would have to take the risk. His brother’s life depended on his success this night.
“Brandon!” he called to his quartermaster. “Ease her in. I’ll take Joshua and Blake

Evan was rummaging through his neighbor's garage sale when he came across the ring. It was laying atop a copy of the game Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception. Curious to check out the game, Evan picked up the ring to take a look at the game, but as soon as his skin came into contact with the cold, embellished steel of the ring, he suddenly had an urge to put it on. Unable to resist and assuming that wearing a ring would be harmless, he slipped it over his finger.
Not a moment after the ring was snugly in place had Evan's world begun to warp. In the blink of an eye his neighbor's garage had morphed into a street in some sort of Middle Eastern coun

I flipped to the cool-side of a cotton cloud,
And counted the lightning bugs that flickered by.
We waltzed the evening away, laughing aloud.
Even the flurries of butterflies, who are extra shy.
And the fireflies boasted their flickers awfully proud,
Before the view of a cheerful nimbus crowd.

PROLOGUE
The midday sun beamed down from a clear blue sky highlighting the green canopy of the tree tops with a golden glow, tropical birds could be heard chattering and calling as they sat within the branches. A low throaty warbling call silenced them briefly as the birds assessed whether the animal that had made the noise was a danger to them, before carrying on chattering and squabbling over fruit and nuts.

The girl at the tattoo place hadnt had any trouble with the design just an old-school, Sailor Jerry swallow, ink-blue with the stroke of red under its throat. Tommy had picked it out of the flash on the wall, ignoring the flaming hearts and dragons and candy-coloured roses.
This one. Can you do this? On me?
Liz had looked up from Immers back, the little machine buzzing between her fingers. Course. If its on the wall, I can do it. On you or anyone.
Immer shifted, reaching down and dragging his cigarettes out of the pocket of the jeans that were shoved halfway off his ass.

blinding, confusing, leaves you
dazzled, lost. Sometimes
you find your way through,
but other times, you don't.
It is peaceful, almost eerie,
the second time, going
through the same emotions
but somehow pushing
further, finding more,
creating new.
At a point, you approach
the crosswalk, where
no matter how many times
you have tried before, this
is the line, you could never reach.
To be on the other side of confusion
the other side of love, into this new,
uncharted territory, we shall pass
together.

uncharted chapter 1The storm brewed up with the blustering strong winds making Nathan drake shiver down his spine as he covered behind the wooden log smothered in snow. His eyes pressed against the rings of the binoculars as he spied on the enemies down below chatting and shivering. Nate spied his way into the cabin log that held the artefact he had been searching for, for the past few months. He put his binoculars down and pulled out his pistol from his holster as he slowly crept towards the armed men. The wind carried razor sharp parts of ice that blew against his numb face with his nose and cheeks going red from the strength of the cold weather.uncharted chapter 12 years ago in Settings More Like This

Uncharted are the waters that we
Run from so deeply.
Unsought emotion and rage,
Which lies naked and closed to change.
Scared are we to see
That which makes us free,
Open to living with grace,
Along with that which brings us haste.
Why should we run,
Form life's confrontational gun?
When it's all that lets us feel
What lives and is perpetually real.

[YJ] Angelfish Fanfic: Uncharted WatersFor a guy like him, these were uncharted waters; maybe even the Bermuda Triangle of waters to be wary of. And yet, bullheaded as a shark, he was going in anyway, but he had a very good reason: a teammate of his was crying in her roomand this was not just any teammate; it was Miss Martian. Only the girl he'd had a crush on since the first time he saw her, the sweetest and kindest girl he'd met up here, and yet he could hear sniffles and harsh gasps coming from her room, the door of which was slightly ajar. How could he not try to go in there and comfort her in any way he could?[YJ] Angelfish Fanfic: Uncharted Waters11 months ago in Short Stories More Like This
