A Light In The Fog

I   don't   know   where   I'm   going
There   is   no   use   to   keep   on   trying

The long nights remain dark, but the short days seem darker
The sun attempts to rise, but even the moon's faint glow is brighter
I guess I'm just searching for something to maybe give me a sense hope
Though I might just be another typical fool who has been lost a long time ago

Wings Of Light

Upon me is the last dawn
Faded away has the last dusk
I leave behind all of the rights and wrongs
I don't deserve an afterlife that is also rough

Mesmerized in deep suspense
As I await the final arrival
My tears become so intense
These last moments of hope are vital

My bearer
Allow me to break away
My deliverer
Accept the toll of my undying faith

I was careless as I fell
Mocking life itself

Every secret I held
Defined a broken side of myself

An inner slaughter I could not defend
A one-sided war that I could not fight against

My downfall is what I didn't want to prevent

L and Light: yaoiLight stepped in the lift and pressed G. He was just about to drift off, but then he stopped at level fifteen and a boy with black hair stood there. Light was looking at the ground so the first thing he saw was his feet, (being he didn't wear shoes.)

"Hey L." Light said.

"Hey, Light-kun…" L said kind of depressed.

"What's wrong?" Light asked in a way that L found attractive.
L started to blush so he looked away so Light wouldn't see, (too late.) "Well, we haven't found any new information about Kira." L said disappointed.

"Damn." said Light, trying to contain the smirk that washed over his impassive face.

Ryuuzaki closed his eyes and let another soft moan out. Light smirked and licked his neck again, then kneeled down, pulling up Ryuuzaki's shirt more, licking his chest. "Ryuuzaki....you taste so sweet...." he said and looked up at him. Ryuuzaki looked back down at him, not saying a word. Then, before Ryuuzaki could blink, Light pulled off L's shirt and was leaning against his chest. She panted, heart pounding as she stood in the center of town. She could hear the blood coursing through the veins in her ears, sounding like the roar of a distant ocean. Her mind was numb, barely registering where she was or that she was covered with a sticky red substance, the pungent scent of copper filling the air. Her eyes slowly fell to an object on the ground: a stained knife that glinted in the midday sun. Next to it was a growing red pool. Her eyes trained on the pool and slowly moved to its source.

The deed had been done.

Crawling in my forlorn appearance
I hide my soul behind these tattered wings
Tattered and broken as they are
Plucked of light, stained in tears and blood.

In quiet despair upon the cold earth
Smeared in dirt I crouch upon my weary knees
And clutched timidly between my fingers
Rests one last jewel of Hope.

A single unblemished plume plucked
From the silver light of dawn
A feathered ray of light from beyond
To illuminate the void that has me bound.

This precious barb of silk
Once lost as I was and forgotten
Blazes now to immerse me in radiant bliss
To wash away the pain, draw me from the abyss.

I used to pray to dashboard lights--
They always brought me safely home.

As darkness would unfurl himself
along the horizon and, like a serpent,
swallow up the sky
regurgitating stars and the bile of moonlight,
I was saved by the messianic gleam
of artificial luminescence shining through.

I'd tuck myself into the leather seat,
press my cheek against the warm cold glass
and watch with hushed worship
