Cosplaying, I'm not into it at all, I would never dress a costume even if Ezio himself would say and tell me "please, do it for the Brotherhood". Ok, maybe if that would be a real Assassin robe I would, but for some reason I don't like costumes.
It's just me... LOL... Still, I find it pretty bold and actually courageous for others to do it and I really admire the dedication and the work all of you put in cosplay, especially those who make most of the gears themselves. I am well aware it's not an easy work. So, kudos to you all.
True, I do prefer a cosplay of a guy cosplaying a guy and a

Brownface and Cosplay: Worlds ApartWhy "brownface" and cosplaying are not the same thing.Brownface and Cosplay: Worlds Apart4 months ago in Academic Essays More Like This
I think most people in the Assassin's Creed fandom are familiar with the case of Rick Boer. Mr. Boer was a Dutch cosplayer, whom, together with his biracial wife, cosplayed Assassin's Creed III's Connor Kenway and Aveline de Grandpré. Their work was truly beautiful, but there was one thing the morally righteous (or just pathetically jealous, your choice) held against it. Rick was a white male and to look more like Connor, he had used makeup to make his skin a few shades darker.
Soon, he found himself accused of "brownface" with people calling him a "racist" and sending him and his wife

It was very late now; midnight had easily come and gone. There was not a soul wandering through the sodden streets of Rome at this hour, all of them had turned into the safety of their warm houses for the night hours ago.. No one would dare to venture out into the streets after the sun set, especially not on a night like this. Everyone, save for a scarce few, knew what kind oMalfatto's Tale: Prologue2 months ago in Settings More Like This

This dream was very cool. It was a dream somehow based on Assassin's Creed 2. I was Ezio, but I was in a dress and a fancy mask. Volpe was telling me I had to go with this guy to a fancy party and assassinate him on the way there. But I couldn't talk or say anything because I was supposed to be a girl. I was on my way to the place when I was supposed to laugh, and I suppose the sound I made was a "titter". I was trying so hard to sound like a girl.
When we were almost there I saw a gap in the railings next to the water, because we were in Venice, and an assassin next to it. I thought I was supposed to go push him i

ACB: Contrasting BladesEzio Auditore, sat at a desk within the Assassin Order of Tiber island, contemplating on the contract before him. The order was filled with conversation and laughter from the novices and assassins he had liberated from the oppression of the Borgia. He picked up the parchment and read over the instructions and information scrawled down by Machiavelli personally. He dispatched recruits on contracts frequently due to his steadfast advancement in fighting against Cesare and his iron grip around Roma, but no contract had made him ponder this heavily on who he wanted to send before. The contract was for two difficult missions in Parigi or Paris, FrACB: Contrasting Blades2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
