Kagekao was still confined to staying inside the house. It was a good thing, even if Kage didn’t see it that way, because his wounds hadn’t fully healed yet; however, because he couldn’t go outside, he was constantly bored throughout the day.
When night finally arrived, Kage climbed into bed to go to sleep. After a few long minutes, he felt himself drifting off; but someone opened the door to his room and rushed inside. It was Yuki; she shut the door silently and then looked at Kage.
“お母さん? 何で-?” (Mom? What is-?) Kage started, but Yuki quickly motioned for him

Kage sighed. He climbed further up the roof so that he could no longer hear his parents; he didn’t like to hear them so sad.
Kage climbed to the highest part of the roof and sat down; he felt like he needed some alone time to think. He felt afraid; he didn’t know what his parents were planning, but it didn’t sound very easy.
He closed his eyes and listened to the sounds of the night. The wind blowing through the grass and the trees, crickets here and there, things of that sort. They were calming and peaceful, something nice.
Kage opened his eyes, and thought he saw something in the woods. He grew alert and looked over

Kagekao opened his eyes, squinting at the bright light of sunset coming through the window. He coughed and lifted his hand to his chest, feeling the bandages wrapped around him that were caked with dry blood.
He tried to sit up, but a sharp jolt of pain came from his back; he groaned.
“Kage, don’t sit up; you have some deep gashes on your back.” A voice from beside him informed.
Kage lied back down and turned his head; Yuki was standing beside his bed.
“Mom, I-” Kage started to speak.
“Kagekao! What were you thinking?!” Yuki interrupted him.
“It’s just that I . . . umm . . . I

Kage closed his eyes tightly, hoping that it was all a dream; some horrible nightmare that had struck in the night. He hoped that he would wake up soon, and everything would be normal.
He opened his eyes; everything was still in its ruined state. He closed his eyes and opened them again; still the same. Kage stood up, but moving had made the open wound on his chest hurt again. He sat back down and sighed. This wasn’t a dream; it hurt too much to be a dream.
Kage sat and waited. He couldn’t tell how much time had passed, everything seemed to drag out. What he perceived as minutes were probably just seconds. Maybe he should jus

Can anybody hear me?
Are these messages
Coming through clearly?
Over a year has gone by
Since I felt the ground beneath me.
How much longer must I wait
Till these binding walls release me?
There are so many worlds
Left to be discovered.
My mind is set on new horizons,
But you're holding me back.
If you are listening to this
Than we have reached the other side.
We've chosen the path
That you so readily denied.
Time, time
It only takes time
Wait it out...Wait
It only takes time
What–
What do you want from me?
I refuse to be the coal
That burns in your machine.
Why–
Why do I even try?
When there's so much
Holding me back from the open sky.
Sitting like a stone,
You don't budge at all.
Crying for relief,
I lie in disbelief.
Sitting by the phone
You act like you don't know.
What's it gonna take
Just to make you break?

His touched burned her skin, set her veins ablaze; smeared charcoal on her face and left her breathless. She would only find words of astonishment when his mouth touched her, soaking in moment with wide eyes and sliding her chilled fingers into his hair; she brushed the silver piercings in his ear and shutter. They were hot, too.
Arthur's stare found hers when she froze, jade eyes burning her just as well as his fingers did. He did so wordlessly, breathing through his nose and his lips shut, silent. It was difficult to predict what he was thinking, he kept himself guarded so well. She wanted to say something, anything, but she found no words

Feel yourself consoled.
Look away.

Kage blinked his eyes open slowly. He felt light headed, and very weak. Looking around in a daze, he saw that he was in his own room, in his bed. He was wrapped in fresh bandages as well.
He heard voices, and feebly turned his head to look in the direction from which they were coming from. His parents were standing a little ways away, but facing the other direction so they did not notice that he had regained consciousness. They were discussing the situation in worried voices.
“I knew this would happen!” Kurai hissed, “If we hadn’t heard him then Kage would be dead right now!”
“Does this mean . . ?&r

Kurai laid the body on the ground gently, and then stood up. He looked up at Scollex, his one remaining eye blazed with hatred. Scollex was silent, but then started to laugh; he laughing at his pain.
Rapidly unsheathing his claws, Kurai ran towards Scollex.
“お前殺す!!” (I’ll kill you!!) He snarled ferociously, but Scollex merely stood there; watching as the enraged demon ran towards him.
Then Kurai noticed something that he wished he had noticed befo

Kagekao sat on the roof of the house. Time had passed, and he was all healed and doing well again. There were still a few minor aches and pains, but they would go away in time.
It was the late afternoon, so the sky was filled with color as the sun prepared to drop below the horizon. The clouds appeared pink and orange, the sky was streaked with red and yellow, and the sun was a large orange sphere; it was the type of scene and color scheme that made one feel warm and content.
Kage gazed out at the sky, unaware of what was about to happen next. To him, it was just another normal day. Sun rose, sun set, everyone is alright.

She was pathetic, weak, and foolish; that's why she did this to herself - she was a coward, afraid of the real world. She locked herself within her own mind from the outside and refused to slide the only key inside through the small sliver underneath the door so someone, a

We scream.
We fight for our dream.
We scream.
We cry.
We're just waiting to die.
The same emotions
with a different drive.
Sometimes dead, sometimes alive.
The same in one way,
different in another
brother and sister, sister and brother.
So close in feeling,
so different in the end.
Falling apart, or finally on the mend?
Which am I?
Will I ever know?
Fighting to stay or ready to go?
Maybe I'm both,
in some impossible way.
Emotions oddly mixed everyday.
Wouldn't surprise.
I'm such a freak.
Excuse me, I laugh, I should call it "unique"

Ever since he could remember, Lukas has despised people touching him; on occasion it would make him physically ill when his friends would even pat him on the back.
Growing up, he had an aunt; this aunt loved her dear Lukas. She would pinch his chubby cheeks with her long, painted nails and kiss him and squish him and he remembered how much he hated that woman. Her painted face made him cringe and the scent of her strong perfume made him gag; and, when his mother left him in his aunt's care, she would touch him. Her older hands would feel his soft, young body and he could do nothing about it.
The woman made him completely resent the touch of
