Last night, I was going to make a fruit punch angel's food cake.
Let's just say that the yolk broke into the whites so I mixed them all together, added some fruit flavouring, flour, sugar, and baking soda, and... voila! A very spongey cake! It's super delicious, and doesn't require a plate- it'd be very good for sculpted cakes.

The Spongiest Fruit Punch Cake Recipe
Prep: You're going to need these guys, or some form of a flavouring like them:
Cherry flavoring
Orange extract
Passion fruit flavoring
Pineapple flavoring
I also used their pina colada flavouring, but I can't seem to find it on their site.
Also you'll need some flour, baking soda, and regular white granulated sugar.

A QUICK GUIDE TO MY RECIPES:
I use a shorthand form for my recipes that many people don't understand. Here's how it works:
T = tablespoon.
t = teaspoon.
TT= to taste (meaning basically however much you like to your tastes)
c = cup
# = pound
~ = about (ex: ~3# of flour, it's not exact, like bread making)
=/= = does not equal. This is for comparisons, for example: cake flour =/= regular flour, etc.
@ = multiply. I'll only use this when I show you guys the bakers formula (yes, we do math too.)
" = inch or same as the above. for example:
10" pan
" cake circle

:bulletgreen: 8 eggs
:bulletred: 1/4 t cherry extract/flavoring
:bulletred: 1/4 t orange extract
:bulletred: 1/4 t passion fruit extract/flavoring
:bulletred: 1/4 t pineapple extract/flavoring
:bulletred: 1/4 t pina colada flavoring
:bulletred: vanilla TT
:bulletblue: 1 1/2 c flour (may need more)
:bulletpurple: 1 1/2 c sugar
:bulletgreen: 1 1/2 t baking soda

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (~190 Celsius). Prep a 9" cake pan by spraying it with cooking spray (or rub it down with butter) and dusting it in flour. This will ensure that the cake comes out of the pan clean. I like to use spring form pans because it's easier for them to cool off.
In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs until they're uniform. Whisk the sugar in by sifting it. Make sure it's all even.
Then, whisk in the extracts/flavorings until nice and smooth.
Sift the flour and baking soda in, whisking it in a little bit at a time. Make sure it's a nice, thick consistency- you may need flour.
Scrape contents of the bowl down, make sure they're all in there, then scrape into the cake pan. Bake for...
Well there's the thing, I didn't see how long it took. Just keep an eye on it. When you stick a toothpick in it, it will come out clean, or when you tap it with your finger it will bounce back.
