Yay! Won a grand award at Intel ISEF! ^^

This is me doing science.

Hi :3 I spent a week in Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania at Intel ISEF - international (though 50 % of people there are from USA and the other half are "guests") science fair for young students with high school projects, where I presented my own project I created during high school - my experimental processor architectures, especially 2DWPU.

Intel ISEF is the biggest scientific event of its kind, the smartest people from the whole world get there. I represented my country (Czech republic) with my research project in Computer Science, against dozens of other projects in this category and managed to even get fourth grand award! ^^'

Which means cash prize, but it's also ticked to basically any prestigious university around the world and also shows, that Weird Processing Units caught interest of some people (not as much as some cancer research, that's always a big hit, but we can't all research  cancer, can we) :3 I got a lot of experience and it was a wonderful week which I'm never gonna forget and it only solidified me with my resolve to do more things and more projects for the future, because as Intel's futurist Brian David Johnson said there, future is what WE make it and he knows it's gonna be awesome, because we (Intel ISEF finalists) will be making it, future scientists and engineers. And I already got a lot of plans, which I'll reveal in time, so keep tuned ;-) (though on my personal website, as I don't really visit this forums much anymore)

There's also swarm of press wanting to do interviews and such with me, so I'm a bit overwhelmed, here's one article about it, it's in Czech though, so use Google Translator or something.

Okay so my friend ~ZPrincess-kanna1 is holding a contest. In this contest she wants you to draw one or more of her OC's in your style. This can be in any medium whether it be digital pastels pencil or watercolor. It doesn't matter. You can either draw her main OC's Kanna and Hanari or you can draw her other OC's you take your pick.

rant and noteok.....so, I've tried to stop doing this, but today was just......ARGH
so, yeah this is a rant, here's the warning to anyone who doesn't wanna read a rant now. But at the end, there is something to my active watchers, so if you want, skip to the end.

ok so, yesterday I was sick, missed School. Today, I wake up at 4 AM and my back's hurting like hell. I've had this problem for a good few months now. but this is ridiculous. I get up at my regular 6:30 later and tell whoevers awake I'm hurting, then go to school.
Second period I'm in the Nurses office asking for something to help, but they can't give me pain meds unless they get a doctors no
 you can skip the rant if you want to the details for the contest are at the bottom.

Summer Contest!

Hello everyone! I am a new admin for this group and I hope to be more active for the group now that the founder is gone, it seems.

So I thought we could have a contest! With summer fast approaching, the theme for this contest will be just that - Summer.
Here are the guidelines for the contest
- Any artwork or written work with Draco and Harry relating to summer may be entered
- It may be an old piece, not done specifically for the contest, as long as it fits with the theme
- You must enter your work into the "contest" folder in the gallery
- Only one entry per person

I think that should about cover it C:

Prizes will be as follows:
1st place : A drawing of anything Drarry from me and being featured in a group journal

How many prizes are given will depend on how many entries.
If you have a prize you'd like to volunteer, let me know! (whether it be a drawing, some points, etc.)
