“Reason is powerless in the expression of Love.”
-Damien Hirst

I believe some of the most powerful works are  those that can make you feel what the artist felt when that work was made. Without heart and that flame to create what you get is art with no soul. Without a soul you get art that is repetitive. Art needs to have a life of it's own while at the same time be a part of the artist. I have been going through various works to bring you all a great amount of expressive art.

Am I saying that these are great works? That isn't even the question. The question is do you think these are great works?

If you hear a voice within you say "you cannot paint," then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.

Vincent Van Gogh

Why do we paint and create items that a lot of people just don't understand? To be belittled or looked over only to be seen later as genius... Do we as artists need to care that our audience is small, or at times too large for us to understand? What would art be like if their wasn't a Vincent Van Gogh? Would we have works that have the same effect on our conscience thoughts?  Art  today, as it has been for the past 20 years, is seen as a commodity and the value attached to it is one that strays away from creative thought to that of which can be marketed and sold and yet we forget that many artists struggle to make a living.

With this I say life is the true expression which makes art and life is the greatest work of art we can ever imagine.

However... We as artists try to recreate life and make it immortal.
