So as of today I am at day two of my new photography adventure. I have Placed all my photos I deemed acceptable on here with a water mark. If there is anyone who would like to use one as a practice piece for drawing and such, feel free to message me and I will consider each, one case by case. I am trying to sell these art pieces, however I understand the plight of a new artist needing material to practice from. I am more than willing to consider sending the original digital file to a person if they request for these reasons. I request that it not become a published piece however unless it is drastically different than the original and I would still like to be credited for your base art. Thanks to all.
I am so new here, i don't know much about this website. Can anyone tell me exactly what everything is? Like the prints thing? You can actually sell your art on here? Does that go for photography also? Can someone please explain how this all works? :D

I have been extremely lucky to know and be friends with so many amazing photographers over the past couple years. Such as Animazeguy-photosnxs, PennyPhotography, N3 Photography, and Elysiam Entertainment.

But I have to gush about a really great friend of mine, I've known for 2 years, who I'm extremely proud of and will support every step of the way, Daniel Gray. He is such a fantastic photographer, professional to work with and has a supremely loveable personality. I feel super lucky to be featured on this man's photography page with my little sister Eleanor Lamb cosplay from Bioshock 2, Yuffie FF Advent Children cosplay, and my custom design Harley Quinn. Not only does he do beautiful cosplay shots, but is great with commercial product photography, head shots and weddings. Right now, from what he tells me he's trying to get out of the con scene after Dragon Con this year, which I completely respect his decision in doing so because I too will be doing the same thing next year after DCon, he will then continue to do prop commissions (he made my light up ADAM Syringe from Bioshock btw) and make a career out of his photography.

Check out his page at the link below:

I Wish him the best of luck in his endeavors and can't wait to see him succeed even more with what he loves doing.

The Street Photography Addiction Test (SPAST)

Has it ever occured to you, that you're already addicted or rapidly tumbling towards trouble? The Street Photography Addiction Test is the first validated and reliable measure of addiction to Street Photography. Developed by Dr. Mary E. Cimetta and her esteemed collaborator Dr. Stamatis Grigoropoulos, the SPAST is a 10-item questionnaire that measures mild, moderate, and severe levels of Street Photography Addiction.

To assess your level of addiction, answer the following questions and then add your points

1. Can you get through the week without street shooting?
4 = Never
3 = Rarely.
2 = Occasionally.
1 = Often.
0 = Always

2. How often do you find that you stay out street shooting longer than you intended?
0 = Never
1 = Rarely.
2 = Occasionally.
3 = Often.
4 = Always

3. Does your spouse (or parents) ever complain about your involvement with street photography?
0 = Never
1 = Rarely.

6. How often do you feel depressed, moody, or nervous when you can't take street photos, which goes away once you are back street shooting?

0 = Never
1 = Rarely.
2 = Occasionally.
3 = Often.
4 = Always

After you've answered all the questions, add the numbers you selected for each response to obtain a final score. The higher your score, the greater your level of addiction and the problems your Street Photography usage causes. Here's a general scale to help measure your score:

0 - 9 points: How about shooting some landscapes instead?

10 - 19 points: You are an average Street Photography user. You may be out Street shooting a bit too long at times, but you have control over your usage.

20 -29 points: You are experiencing occasional or frequent problems because of Street Photography addiction. You should consider their full impact on your life and address the problems directly caused by your Street Photography abuse.

over 29 points: Your Street Photography usage presents characteristics of addiction, obsession and compulsion, causing significant problems in your life. You need help. Consider contacting the Street Photographers Anonymous and engaging in group psychotherapy. Remember: you are not alone!
In the meantime, try shooting some landscapes instead.
