Goals in life: Master the art of necromancy, bring her parents back to life, kill Starhand and bring his body to Darkstar
Born on a planet much like Spherus, but in a completely different dimension. Deathlight's parents were murdered before her own eyes and she was taken away by the attackers, she was raised as an assassin and didn't learn any magic spells until the age of 16, when she killed her master and fled into the nearby jungles. She ended up in a primal village, sick and near death. The village elder, who was skilled in both magic and medicine, slowed the effect of Deathlight's illness, she still suffers from this disease and it'll slowly kill her, but that might take years. When she was able to move without any help, she asked the elder one thing: "Can you bring my parents back to life?". The elder replied by telling her that he can't bring back those he never met, so he taught Deathlight how to use necromancy. But Deathlight, who was trained as a soulless murderer, killed the elder and destroyed the village.
Back at home, Deathlight went to her parents' grave and used her new ability to bring her parents back. But her training was incomplete. Instead of bringing back her parents, she simply gave life to their soulless bodies. Their flesh was rotting, they were slowly falling apart. Deathlight destroyed her parents' bodies and went to seek help in another dimension, where she met Darkstar who had, of course, specific plans for her...
During her time as Darkstar's servant, she has fallen in love with her master and is willing to do anything to please him (and by anything I mean Anything). Despite the fact that she knows Darkstar will never see her as more than a slave, Deathlight still wants to make sure she can please her master.
