Hеrе аrе a few tidbits аbоut craсkerѕ:

Crackers made out of  almond flour  (or perhaps in this situation almond milk pulp, more about that in a moment) are highly nutritious and slightly addictive.  They're perfect with a variety of spreads including  Homemade Goat Cheese ,  Fig Tapenade ,  Sesame Dip  or  Savory Avocado Spread .

Crackers are able to travel many different taste routes, accompanying most anything in the spice drawer, herbs in the garden (dried or fresh), and many types of kinds of nuts. Utilizing a pasta machine to help roll the dough is advertised in certain recipes, however i found that a pastry cloth along with a good rolling pin work well.

The dough is a bit rough and crumbly when it is done. Rustic. That is the word to keep in mind. (Not love how "rustic" has become code word for raggedy edges, imperfect, but nonetheless delicious? Which is a decent word for my entire life at this time. Perhaps yours too?) But when you roll it - and that i suggest you roll it on a Silpat, right on the baking sheet, as I did above - it smooths into something much more presentable.

Since it hasn't really snowed here yet I have started crocheting little snowmen. So far I have about 5 of the little guys all over the place, and another on the go. Three of them I made last year and they are big, and the new ones well they are smaller and sit better. Live and learn.

I picked up some Bernat Christmas yarn the other day and I am itching to use it. Very sparkly and festive.

Photos of the little guys will be up soon.

Hello Hello

I know its been a while since I did anything or posted anything up, but I have been quite busy. Desert Bus 6 is on its way and I have conjured up. A lucky green pig and Pyro Jack from the Persona game.

I have also made some Halloween decorations and they shall be posted up as soon as I photograph them. There are more pumpkin people.

My crocheted blanket is done and now a weight has been lifted and along with that weight is this new found love for making cute little dolls again! I have completed a donkey (still don't know if I want to put a straw hat on him or not) and a unicorn. I'm also working on some things for Desert Bus but I wont say what they are it's a surprise. I'm also working on a Toki doll. He is the only member of Dethklok that I haven't made yet. I am also working on another Pickles the drummer doll and possibly a Charles Ofdenson doll, but first I need to figure out what colour eyes Ofdenson has.

The town fair is coming up and I might make a dinosaur to enter in or I might just put the unicorn in.

Photos of the crafty projects will be taken soon and posted up.

I know I haven't really been updating much but I have been working on a massive blanket and other projects seem to be shelved for this. One thing is for sure I wont be making another huge blanket for a long time....I might swear off blankets but I know that wont happen because I am working on one for myself.

Not sure if I will be doing the rest of the band of Metalocalypse...Toki unraveled and I panicked so who knows. I might finish off some more Pickles the drummer but as of right now I need to get this blanket done.

DesertBus is starting this Friday 6pm PST. Check out Desert Bus here: [link]

I made a little pink pig which is part of the silent auction check it out here: [link]

I am currently working on 4 snowmen, and it seems that they are quite popular right now. On top of the snowmen there are two ponies and catnip filled mice, & two blankets. The Dethklok dolls are on hold for now, but I have completed three heads of Pickles the Drummer...body is soon to follow.

After 16 balls of yarn, goodness knows how many hours, and a lot of swearing/crying and almost giving up the blanket is finished! And as I laid it out to photograph it got cat approved so that's an added bonus, but I don't ever want to see the Phentax worsted Got the blues yarn ever again.

I have started some other projects and I know I keep saying that I am working on another Pickles but he keeps getting pushed back, but that's what happens when life and work get in the way plus the weather is so nice that I'd rather be outside working in the flower beds and such.

Happy Halloween! The crochet horror that I have unleashed are Frankenstein's Monster, a pumpkin (I haven't posted the pic yet) & two pumpkin people. Along with those little things I did the horror movie a day, and actually finished it! Last year it was a bust. Since work and everything else seems to happen I also included a Halloween themed TV show as well as the scarey movie.

Hello everybody! You guys can call me Morgan. I've been on several websites and a ton of people had accounts on this site. So I decided to look around and found that I love it! Even though I just joined today. I enjoy sketching, painting, writing, photography, creating photo-manip's and a bunch of other art related topics. I'm 15, soon to be 16! And own two horses that I keep at my home. I love animals, and hope to enter a career involving them, or an art career(photographer, web designer, writer, etc.) um, well thats all for now, feel free to use contructive criticisim - im not sure if i spelled that right - on anything that I post on here, it is greatly appreciated!
