J-Pop megastar Ayumi Hamasaki, known to most as "Ayu" and "The Empress Of Pop", has announced that she will be getting married soon.
And now it seems like the whole world has turned upside down.

On January 1st 2011, Hamasaki Ayumi has announced that she is getting married on her fan club site “TeamAyu.” According to the announcement on “TeamAyu”, her groom is Austrian actor, Manuel Schwarz who Ayu co-stared with in her PV’s for “Virgin Road“, “Last angel“, and “Love song.”
Their first encounter was during the shoot for “Virgin Road” held in L.A in August 2010, and Manuel appeared in her PV as Ayu’s husband. They met again at the shoot for “Last angel” and “Love song”, but it seems like they kept in touch with each other through emails and phone calls.
Ayu wrote, “I, Hamasaki Ayumi, met irreplaceable love, as a human being, and as a female. I am sure that we are at the closest place as eternity. Many who was my husband in the PV for ‘Virgin Road’, will be my husband in my real life!!!!!”
According to her agency, they will register their marriage sometime soon, and Ayu is not pregnant. At this moment, there has not been any information about her future activities.

Personally, I find it quite difficult to believe that someone of her stature has actually agreed to binding herself in matrimonial commitment when some of us know for a fact that she was always a musical advocate of female independence. It appears that like many sophisticated individuals she has had a change of heart and now wishes to go in a direction she once previously claimed to have never wanted to travel in (see her 2002 single "Free & Easy" [link] ).
Even though I am eternally loving supporter of Miss Hamasaki (a title by which I shall always refer to her by REGARDLESS of her current marital status), I simply cannot comprehend this unfathomable reality. I always thought one day that she MIGHT get hitched, but for it to actually occur at a time when I still think of her as a swinging single brings tears of sadness and joy to my eyes. My reasons for this reaction will be further explained as you read this article

To be honest, I do not find this to be thrilling news at all. In fact, I was rather surprised at this turn of events.
Regarding this statement, some of my fellow Ayu fans might criticize me for being so negative about the whole thing. And I have not right to blame them. But the reason for my disagreement with this issue is not because I do not think she chose the perfect man, rather I believe that their relationship
Now, onto the real reason this entire fiasco (thats what I call it and have no intention of taking it back) started.
Manuel Shwartz.
The man who supposedly captured the heart of our beloved Empress.
MY beloved Empress.
I do not love the man.
Nor do I hate him.
He is quite a good looking guy if you ask me, you can even check out his profile here ---> [link] .
Although I'm pretty sure that even if you check it out, it will still be in maintenance considering the fact that he is garnering so much attention for marrying a VERY RICH woman who still has difficulty speaking English despite several years of training.

But you know what I think, WTH is Ayu thinking?

I mean think about it, they've only known each other for a few MONTHS and have never once made mention of a relationship to the public BUT NOW THEY WANNA GO TO THE ALTAR ALREADY!?
FUCK THAT.
If I didn't know any better, I'd say he's only using Ayu just to get a spot in the limelight. Even with her dwindling sales, such an issue is bound to garner controversy considering the fact that MANY people all over the world still pay attention to her activities. The fact that I'm ranting in this article should be proof enough of that.
Alas, I know I cannot hold a grudge against him for long.
If it seems to me that there was something he did right, then it is possible he could have made her very happy on an emotional level, something which I’m sure not many people can do since it is often she who inspires others through music rather than the other way around.
I suppose that passing judgment onto someone I barely know isn’t the best way to start of the new year.
After all, if he can give Ayu what she wants then I suppose this whole thing SHOULD be fine by me.
If however, he hurts her feelings in anyway WHATSOEVER…
Lets just say that I have every intention of making sure good fortune will never smile upon him again.
