New tablet! Using brushes, Christmas stuff :o

So I was very surprised to see that my dad got me the monitor tablet I've always wanted! I've been drawing with the mouse this entire time, so it will really change the way I draw things forever, that is, once I get it installed and get the hang of it xD, thank you dad!

On another note, I may be doing a graphical update on a lot of my work uploaded on here. I always thought a particular brush of mine that I use came with the program, but I suspect that this brush stroke belongs to a user here on Deviantart. They previously uploaded on this computer, which was custom built by someone I know, so there were a few brushes uploaded to my Photoshop roster. I have been told that the brush stroke is actually free to use for anything, but I want to verify just to make sure. I'll be the first to say that I love supporting other artist by using stuff like icons and brushes, but if you might have any clues on where the origin of this brush stroke might originate from, feel free to share any information. Until then, I will be replacing them with my own self made paper textures as a substitute.

also sent me an amazing Buggy the Dragonfly broach this Christmas that was hand made by her, now Buggy can be mobile! I really just want say thanks and this is an awesome gift, you're very talented (much better at sewing than I am haha) and everything you've made has been filled with whimsy and high quality work. I've really been wanting to draw something for you, and now that I have this awesome tablet, I would love to do so. That way, the line art will be even better!

Thank you everyone for the Christmas wishes, you've all been very kind. I hope you all have a great holiday and I look forward to getting back to everyone when I'm finished spending time with my family.
