I bet if you walked past me on the street you wouldn't give me a second glance...

But I will be staring creepily at you and make you feel very uncomfortable... c:

I dont sleep much any more. The thought of you keeps me up at night and I sigh when I know I cant have you in my arms. I want to cry out your name and than have you by my side, but I know it wont happen and this is only wishful thinking…

This was move week at my college.  How this works is that if you ended up with a sucky dorm room for the first semester, they give you a chance to score a better one for the second semester.  Then you have to move all your crap sans elevator or dolly up and down some stairs, across a street or many streets, and then up and down a couple more flights of stairs.

So this morning, after about four hours of sleep, this sounded like a good idea.  They also canceled classes because of the snowstorm, so, bonus.  Long story short, I didn't get the room I wanted.  BUT I did get a room.  And I like it.  Pretty much anyway.

Here are the pros and cons of my new room vs. my old room.

Old Room
Pros:
No chance of a roommate moving in unexpectedly
TWO beds
ONE desk
Carpet
Sink
Pretty good sized
TWO closets
TWO cupboards
TWO dressers
Mirror
All my stuff is right there already

Cons:
Ugly as fuck
The people across the street can see in my window
NOISY
Drunk noisy people in the hallways when you're trying to sleep
Connected to the freshman dorm -_-
No elevator
Heaters are noisy and they randomly go off when your room is about 50 degrees (F)
Garbage room smells like moldy warmed-up leftovers.
Bathrooms were obviously built for children
Good luck fitting in the showers!  I hope you don't have to shave or anything!

New Room:
Pros
Victorian brownstone
Pretty bathrooms
Big showers!
TWO beds
TWO dressers
TWO desks
Privacy!
They don't turn the heat off randomly

Cons
"We may move a roommate in with you if we need the space!"
No sink
No cupboards
Tiny ass closet
Not much storage space
You're only allowed to use half the room in case we decide to do an inspection
You have to move all your shit by yourself
No elevators or dollys to help move your shit!
Carry your fridge up four flights of stairs, sucker!
Heaters are still noisy
You have to rearrange everything
You can't turn the heat off
You find out just how much crapola you really own

Yeah, I'm wondering if this was really a good idea.

Despite that, I'm actually pretty okay with the move.  My pro/con lists make me think I should have put more thought into this move, but whatevs.  It's  nice to have a change of scenery and there's supposed to be a lot less noise in my new dorm.  We'll see how I'm doing in a week.  I may not even have enough energy to unpack all my shit from the move.

I also realize that I've got a little over a boxful of textbooks that I need to sell back.  Because, cash!  Also I won't have to carry them out of my room when I have to move out.  So, bonus.

So, when you move, where does all the stuff come from?  Your room seems so empty, then you try to pack it all up and it's like, HELLO.  Remember me?  You're gonna have to move me now!

FML

I'ma finish unpacking nao.

Apparently I have too much time on my hands, because last night I decided to create a blog.  Maybe I just don't sleep enough to have the common sense not to become a blogger.  It's probably the latter.

Anyway, I named it AlbinoShadow Cosplay.  Original, yah?  Seriously, it was 2 AM and things in my brain weren't running as smoothly as they should have been.

My goal is to actually keep this blog updated with costume progress and process so that you don't have to suffer through reading it on DeviantART.  And, on Blogger, you can do cool formatting and other neat shit!  My graphics tablet is so old that it burns coal, but it still did the job.  At least, I think my blog looks cool...

Welp, here it is!

Please check it out if you have time, and follow me if you really like it ;)
I'll try to keep things fresh and kinda humorous when I'm not droning on endlessly about something pointless.

I wanted to write this journal yesterday, but I was too lazy.

Anyway, I hate Black Friday.  Only hours after everyone gives thanks for what they have over a nice meal with family, they swarm to the mall to buy, buy, buy!  It's a wonderful celebration of American values.  I mean, okay.  Stores like to have big sales.  Fine.  But don't open your damn sales until it's legitimately Friday, like, after everyone (including your employees) get a good night's sleep to burn off that turkey and mashed potatoes.

Employee treatment is another issue entirely ( [link] ), but I would really like to be able to celebrate Thanksgiving without all this materialistic crapola -_-

Photoshoots for Fai, Seth, and Kakyo are done!  Photos will be uploaded progressively :)

Also, I am not going to Ikkicon.  My friend cannot go and I don't want to spend New Year's alone on a bus somewhere in po dunk, Texas.  Oh, well, now I can buy a lightsabre and materials for Luminara Unduli.
