Well I was wondering about something~ You see I'm going to Aachen tomorrow and I wanted to know if any of you lived there or something, I know that quite a few of my watchers come from Germany after all!

Watercolour workshop 2012 in Aachen; almost full!

Hey all, I've decided to hold another watercolour workshop this year, as several people have already asked.

*cracks knuckles*

WHEN: August 11th/12th; one weekend (Saturday and Sunday); eight hours on both days (10-18.00
WHERE: Youth Hostel Aachen, Germany. [link]
WHAT: You'll learn the basics of how watercolour works, along with an assortment of colour theory, special tricks in watercolour, get the chance to try out different sorts of paint (I'll bring the docmartins), plus anything you'd specifically like addressed. The approach to watercolour you'll learn is very much lineart-based, so it's a good idea to bring some lineart with you (on watercolour paper).
HOW MUCH: 60 Euros per participant. The workshop fee covers only the workshop, not your accommodation or journey!
WHO: Anyone who reasonably thinks I can still teach them something about watercolour. Total beginners are very welcome, as are non-German speakers. I held the last workshops mostly in English, but either English or German is a must.

As of now, I'm just sounding out interest, so nothing's fixed. Just reply here if you're interested or would like to know more! If you're already sure you want to come, please send me an email with "Workshop" and your name in the title, along with the following info: name and nickname on dA/skill level in watercolour/languages spoken/vegetarian or other food specifics/email address (so I can copy them all into one word document)/anything specific you'd like to learn from me, apart from watercolour in general.

Well, I just got a call from Rotary International, and it turns out that a family in Aachen, Germany, is maybe trying to match/host me!

I'm so excited right now!

I'm doing some research, and Aachen is on the deep West of Germany, and is bordered by two countries.

Apparently, they also speak a dialect.

This is so exciting!

Yesterday I went to Aachen to make some pictures and to gather some information for a presentation at school ^-^ I never went to Germany before, so it was a bit exciting

But anyway, I made some nice pics of a few buildings and statues, and probably I'll upload some of them here

I also bought 3 manga (2 Fairy Tail and 1 of Hetalia). They're in German, but it isn't too hard to read ^^

I hope I have the right pictures for the presentation... It was snowing the whole day, and I didn't want my camera to get all wet >.<

I'm going to Aachen on Friday! Yay! (a place in Germany people)
And we're going to freeze to death. And it's going to be cold. And I shall go to some sort of market stall for dinner. Yays. And buy chocolate. Double yays.
And gummy bears!!!!!

Me and Nekoniamh have made a pact. We are writing the same story between us. Since the only person who'se really watching this is probably her, it seems a little pointless to tell her.

Finally I am moving to Aachen and go on study there. I am so happy
to get out of this Rhein-Main-Section again...it's full of strange people
and I know it just so good...like you know, when you're grown up
in a place. Boring. I am so happy about new stuff soon!

I have two new girlie rats, sharing my home with them. Called them
Misses Salomé and Beatrix Kiddo. They are cutie cookies.
Next friday is moving day. Wooohoo.

Tomorrow I'll go to my beloved city Aachen

I lived there over 15 years ago and now it's gonna be a center of my life the next years. Now I'll go to the university of Aachen which is the best university in NRW at this time...

I'm going back to where I belong
