Hi everyone !

Let's talk about my actual projects and news

after this picture, i'll post a RAR file with the 5 principal folders to put in the folder C:\Users\*user name*\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\WP7\InstalledPanels\#Windows8

After using omnimo for around 2 weeks I thought that it would be great to spread out the word for anyone who has not seen this awesome Rainmeter "skin".

To be honest I would not even call it a skin because it is way more than that.
For anyone who is bored by the standard windows7 UI well you know what you will be spending your next hour on !

The Omnimo UI is based on Windows 8 Metro UI (for anyone who has not seen the Metro UI yet: [link] )

I am not a man who writes a lot. I rather let images speak:

I'm not much of a blogger, so it's really my first time writing a blog post. Anyway let's start...

This group was made so that all Omnimo configurations could be found in one place, and so making it easier to share with each other. There are really endless configurations, each unique and special for each one of us. And with that in mind, I find fascinating the idea of creating a group for that purpose.

Omnimo Desktop Contest [prizes]

Along with the Omnimo 3 release, we decided to hold a omnimo desktop competition. It's your chance to show off your awesome omnimo setup and win points!

Rules:

» Omnimo must be used as the centerpiece
» Do not use any socially unacceptable material on your desktop
» You may enter up to 3 screenshots
» Screenshots must be preferably PNG and submitted to Customization>Screenshots>Windows
» List the items you used on your desktop
» Submit a entry with a thumbnail or a link here, do NOT send any notes
» Your account must be more or less active and made at least a month BEFORE this contest

Requirements:

A original layout with a great balance of minimalism, elegance and style. You can use the default settings in omnimo color gallery, but also ad your own skins, fonts and images. Please keep in mind that sometimes less is more. However, your desktop doesn't have to be perfect to win, if you think your desktop looks great, don't hesitate to submit it! Who knows? Maybe you'll win!

Prizes:

» 1st place: 636 (or a 3 Month subscription)
» 2nd place: 318

» 3rd place: 159

Judging

Your desktops will be judged by the requirements above. If the winning desktop happens to be highly attractive, it will be made a theme. We reserve the right to change the course of the contest - the prizes may or may not increase, and the top 3 voting, if tough, might be made into a public poll.
