salaam

before, I do not know if there are people out there who have never made this kind of tutorial, but hopefully this might be useful for some who read this.
this time, I tried to split the tutorial titled "
making own signature brushes in GIMP",
do you know what '
signature' I mean?
here is the sample ;

[link]usually, I make it manually each time have to make a signature, so a bit troublesome as well.
then I make it as 'brush' in GIMP.
First, we'll create a design signature that we will use,
by using the GIMP, create a new file,
then select RGB mode image, and background using BGcolour.
its size is up, but I suggest using 250 x 250 pixels,
and here is your new worksheet ;
then, we create new layer, and select transparancy colour on this new layer;
klik ok, and make layer background invisible by clicking eye symbol;

you can design your own signature on this new layer(transparancy),
it's the sample ;
if you have finish your signature's design, then we can save it as GIMP Brushes (.gbr),
select save, and name it '
yoursignature.gbr '
then save it on your GIMP brushes directory (on linux user, see pict bellow);
if notice said you must merge layers, click 'merge visible layers', then ok,
new dialog will appear, and setting spacing section,
I fill it with '10',.
then save.
ok, we will try our new signature brushes,open some image from GIMP,
open brushes dialog with ( Shift+Ctrl+B),;
then refresh brushes list ;
ok, you can see your signature in brushes list;
and it works!;

sorry for my very lame-bad english,
I'm Indonesian, and I'm proud to be indonesian,
and, hey, you can create your own brushes too with this tutorial

you can ask or critique this tutorial if you want and if you can,..
