This is a new character. She is Toby's childhood friend. She has a mysterious personality and will only talk to Toby. Her name is Red and this is her story...

Red was born into a family nurtured by the darkest poverty, her mother was paid for love and her father was a tradesman. He used his money to pay for cheap rum, the sailors exported into their small village named Moss. Her siblings had consisted of three younger brothers and one older sister who had all tragically disappeared one way or another...Red has no recollections of her older sister Raven who was stolen and never given back.
Red picked apples from the nearby orchard and sold them on the busy streets ; sometimes she would make jams, tarts and sweet juices from them or so she dreamed. A two penny piece was offered to her for a bundle of five. For her family's sake she would occasionally dance and sing, for the money of pitying and mocking men. Her voice was like that of a wolf's in pain, a sound that intrigued yet disturbed. When she danced, she would dance with her childhood friend Toby who was treated as an outcast by all except Red. She loved him, sh knew and understood him. What she craved for most was his tail that curled and the ears that pricked. Red knew his most painful secret. Strangers who were arrogant claimed she was mute but the words she spoke were spoken through her eyes. The eyes that dared to dream. Dream of a better world, one that was not bruised with violence.
