also be used to grade and level many surfaces. The multi-toothed tools can gather leaves, plant material, and loosening or smoothing soil. It is used in a small-scale capacity in landscaping, and in larger operations for agriculture. A rake is a tool used to gather or loosen material or to grade or level a surface.
The two main types are agricultural tools and hand tools. Its nature in farming purposes is to facilitate the quicker completion of operations with efficient efforts as well. Rotary rakes are those, used widely for the comprehensive collection of material in the baling process.
The main kind is the hay rake, which is pulled by and behind the tractor, which also pulls wheel and parallel bar rakes, along with twin rakes. They arrange the hay into single windrows to be dried. This type is pulled behind the tractor, and forms the hay into individual windrows to dry. Twin rotary rakes combine windrows, two at a time, though a distinct and separate piece of equipment, called mergers, also performs this function.
