A few weeks after she was born, her parents came home until an alien ship crashed in the neighbourhood close to the Caloway home. An being known as a Vaxai named Terkoro deeply wounded barely made it to the house. Little Hayley was sleeping at the moment as were her parents. Terkoro managed to come in, walk up the stairs, walk slowly into the room and approached the baby bed.
