[link]So, lately I've been trying to learn photomanipulation techniques, and I've been poking around with some different experiments.
I saw Izy's awesome Cortana cosplay sitting in jagged-eye's stock folder so I thought I'd try putting my own touches on it.
I went for the Holographic AI look. I tried to smooth out all the bumps, wrinkles and seems in the bodysuit, though it was pretty time consuming so I have to admit I got a little lazy around the ankles and hands and some other parts that got faded and blurred anyway. To get her looking this way took about 11 layers stacked together with different blend modes and masks. Since I'm not going for realism, I didn't have to worry about that uncanny valley effect you get from bad perspective matches you see in a lot of amateur photoshops quite so much. This is probably my first little photomanipulation experement that focuses on an actual human model that I'm happy enough with to post.
