Waiting for Pam.Dave watched her go into the room. It was so clichéd but Pam really did look beautiful as she walked away from him. That red hair that had made him fall in love with her all those years ago lightly bouncing with each step she took. The door closed silently and he was left alone with only the clock to keep him company.Waiting for Pam.3 years ago in Awareness More Like This
Tick. Tock
He looked at the floor through his loosely clasped hands and wondered why the carpet in these places was always so damn drab. Running his tongue over the back of his teeth he could taste the bitter instant coffee that came from the machine in those pathetic plastic cups. How many of them had he had today? Did i

Today is the first day of kindergarten and all of the children are piling into their classroom, eager to start their first day of school. Today is their first major step toward being big boys and girls. The teacher smiles at each child tenderly as they hook their bags onto a rack beside the door and find their seats. You are not any more deathly
than the trucker who
didn't get enough sleep.
You might feel more like a tsunami,
a ticking bomb,
a killer.
But what are you else
than a human with a disease
with preventable infection?

Dan took a deep breath, leaving the outside world behind, and switched on his computer. Opening his browser he was greeted by deviantArt, his welcome page, his home.
“Who do you want to be today?” he chuckled. “A female from India, maybe? Why not...” He typed in some random letters as deviant name and clicked Join, entered a password he would not need, a fake name and email address and he was in. He smiled hap
