The Dance Of The MothFew have ever witnessed the dancing of the mothThe Dance Of The Moth4 years ago in Poetry
When he flits across the ceiling in the night
A most magical scene as he dances back and forth
And he's never lacking elegance in flight
As he swoops and twirls to a song all his own
A song, of which, us humans will never hear
And at first glance he appears to dance alone
A closer look reveals that something's there
Once he had a partner he loved with all his heart
And when she passed she left a piece behind
For their souls could not bear to ever have to part
So she left her shadow there for him to find
For this serenade's designed not for one but two
It's a tribute for the lovers o

I'd Play The FoolI can be the one to play the fool for youI'd Play The Fool4 years ago in Poetry More Like This
So honey, no more crying, dry your tears
There's nothing at all that I wouldn't do
Hang in there it's just a few more years
I'd do anything for you, you know I would
And I'd play the fool if only for a smile
I'd move the earth for you, dear, if I could
Stay, here, in my arms now for a while
Let sweet slumber take you over, I am here
Darling, lay your head down, rest your eyes
I'll play the knight and chase away your fear
I'd be your angel watching til you rise
And I'll trek the many miles if you ask me
I'd take the pain and sorrow as my own
I'd make everything alright, as it should be

RememberTurned toward to open window;Remember4 years ago in Poetry More Like This
toward the city and the sea,
toward the sound of night-time revels,
toward the sunsets fading light.
Toward them all; away from me
[in this half-light I cant see his face]
It is too much to move
and lay a hand on his arm.
I am too scared to raise my voice
to ask that question,
a one-word plea; why?
It is too much.
So many thinks I want to say,
so many things I need.
Remember? I would say;
Do you remember?
I remember.
I remember the beach, the cliffs, the ocean
where we spent so many days
[perhaps he thinks too many]
The tide rises as we explor

No Time to DreamDreamers, they dream in a plain all their ownNo Time to Dream4 years ago in Poetry More Like This
Never to call the future's cellular phone
Stuck in a realm where all that really matters
Are the events of yesterday, the titters and tatters
I once had a revelation, you all will see
About what really matters, the you or the me
Tick-tock times ticking one, two, three, and four
Why waste another second, let's get up off the floor!
Time's a fickle mistress, she doesn't like to wait
I set myself down on a path that's was never so straight
So what are ya gonna do to me now?
She told me all that matters is the here and the now
So, I've been standing in front of his ever closed door

The Irony Of Life. They'd seen their World tremble,The Irony Of Life.4 years ago in Poetry More Like This
like a flame burning out.
Making their happiness dwindle,
those tragic seconds defining their life.
The quake was now gone,
and the Earth was no more frustrated.
She had vented all her anger,
and had settled back to a state of calmness.
The man had gone frantic,
just like many other men.
Looking everywhere for his family,
a wife, two daughters and a son.
And he was lucky,
very lucky indeed.
He found them all,
and the family reunited with a passing sense of glee.
They were together again,
they were all alive.
It was so hard to believe,
when so many around them had died.
People they'd known s

Leading OnYou sealed the hole that lasted agesLeading On4 years ago in Poetry More Like This
you fixed the girl who slipped through the pages.
You put my shatterd heart to rest.
you killed my fears and I have no regret.
You made the stars shine down on me.
You did everything, you made me see.
You gave me my glow you gave me my light
you were the one who chased away the night.
You held my hand through thick and thin
you held my heart through everything.
You became my savin grace
you made me stand in my place.
You kissed my cheek and kissed my soul
you held me tight, you never let go.
You kept me standing strong and easy
you kept me up you kept me buzy.

EntwinedYour warm body against mine.Entwined4 years ago in Poetry More Like This
our hands entwined like a great
big grape vine.
I play with your hair and you play with mine
we laugh and we joke so hard until we cry.
You tickle me just to see me smile.
You look at me and I look at you
our fire has changed from red to blue.
your lips touch mine so gentle
so cool.
Soon day turns to night I pull you closer
you hold me tight. Time is ticking You have to go
I want you to stay, one last kiss before you go away.
Your eyes change from, brown to black
I miss you already please come back.
Then I remember tomorrow is another day
I wish to the stars, to the heavens you pass my
way.
