Chapter 1: The Baseball Incident
It was a somewhat quiet, peaceful fall afternoon here in the little town of Peach Creek as we come upon the location of a local suburban area called the Peach Creek Cul-De-Sac. Birds were chirping a little song of nature; the leaves were starting to turn into the different colors of autumn; screams filled the air Wait, that last sound did not sound so peaceful.
Run away!!! cried out three voices as we could see three boys; one tall, one short, and one in between their heights, running away from an angry boy behind them, who carried a basebal

You were often the oddest person around.
Why did you leave that tree trodden campus
that you once felt so keen to stay?
Why did you linger?
Questions plague the thoughts of your mind;
twisted wires from a tire now made to mesh.
Poison oak, baked into minty muffins,
makes you fall asleep, when you need to die.
What is it like to think that
squirrel is a great side dish to most fish courses?
Only you would know something like that.
Let the bread and olive oil cry itself to sleep.
Remember the films
where everyone gets away and ends up
with exactly what they wished for?
Recall the thoug

In the FridgeWe stare out at the lake, but not really seeing it. We sit quietly, side by side. We sit as if planted in the earth like our fishing rods, and just as lifeless and immobile. In the Fridge4 years ago in Written Entries More Like This
You now seem agitated by some thought. Seeing the disruption, I dare to ask you what is troubling you, breaking our silence.
You remark that you were thinking about the movie you saw last night, that film Zodiac.
I admit to never having seen it. I ask what it was about.
You lived in San Francisco when the killings occurred, you say. I ask what do you mean, what does it have to do with San Francisco. You tell me the movie is based on the true story surrounding a serial

Her stomach grumbled audibly and she let out a soft moan. Where was that stupid teddy bear? She had told him to meet her here when the sun was close to setting. He even had ensured her that he wouldn't get lost again. So why was he so late? She decided not to wait much longer when she finally heard him trudge out of the forest behind her.
“What took you...” she started to say while turning towards him, but the rest of her sentence was forgotten at the sight of the small, furry object hanging lifelessly from his snout. “What's that?” Did he spent all that time trying to catch something to impress her?
He let his prey

Dreams beget freedom
Freedom spins wings
Wings fly on birds in the springtime
Birds land on boats
In sunshine which spends
Its resting hours, in shadow
The shadow brings forth
A nightmare for man
A man who works to stay active
Among these men
Tom Alond
Who was once a Fine waiter in Paris
But alas, for in that city of lights
A tragedy came to pass
Tom no longer had good luck, to keep him up and afloat
When Tom came in, to work one day
The chef was indisposed
So Toms boss came and made him cook, till steam poured out of his nose
But in Toms day
It had just begun
The horror that w

It was a summer day like any other, it was sunny out and hot.
Ember the maned wolf was out playing. Her red fur was glistening in the sun like fire dancing among the flowers. It had only been her first summer without her mother. Ember was still getting used to living by herself. Trotting along a stream, which was flowing straight through a field of flowers, she was thinking about what to do with this beautiful day. As much as she hated the thought, she knew she would have to find food soon. As she sat and watched the fish glide through the water as if they were flying more than swimming, she notice

She was a very particular queen. She only wore pea-green in public, and magenta at home. She watched the Late Show every night with her pet Chihuahua but she hated David Letterman.
She only ate fried rice on Monday, pizza on Tuesday, tacos on Wednesday, ham on Thursday, hot dogs on Friday and fish on Saturday and Sunday.
One time, she invited the head minister of the great land of the open grass, or something. She couldn't tell, he had a really strange accent, well anyway, this guy came over to her royal palace to spend a spell while his castle was under constructi
