I am the serpent, and she
Is my Eve
Her skin more pale
Than life-in-death,
Hair black, fuliginous
As Newcastle coal
Lips redder than a rose, or
So they say, and
She bleeds alabaster and
Exhales empty, for she
Is reality only
In a mirror

Glass
I am transparent, a
Porcelain doll they
Hope to shatter,
So clear that you can see
My heart, my
Ribs, and break them
Should you wish, for
How can glass
Escape itself, caged
Within its own fragility,
Running one-shoed
Upon a sole
So clear that
Water is put to shame
Beside its purity

The time
Has come
To say good-bye
To spread
Our wings
And fly
To remember
The memories
Good and bad
As we
Part our
Ways
To remember
All the
Fun times
We had
I hope
That all
Of you
Receive
What you
Want out
Of life
And always
Remember God

You look
So handsome
But how
You perceive
Me is all
I wonder
For I like
You and
Dont know
How to tell
You dont

wind blows
tears fall unchecked

Cry
Crying, weeping
sorrow streams down my cheeks
don't you see
can't you hear me?
Desperate for your attentions
I cry, weep for you
quietly
don't you see
can't you hear me?

Wait
Tomorrow fades
in cold light,
the morn comes
with a soft sigh.
Wait for me
by the light of the morn
with held breath and soft sigh,
by the light of the cold morn
with a sigh
Tomorrow fades
stories told, scars healed
Today comes with the sun
expectations arise.
Cry for me
if by twilight I come not
but wait my love
for come I must.

they have river rock eyes
clouded by nicotine
smoke that blends into
the air by a frozen STOP sign,
a pause, a puff
a stare from blue-veined ringed
eyes that stare with defiance
you think youre better than me?
as the neighborhood stretches and moans
and their rainbowed lips purse.
two of them stand next to a
yard, a slide and jump ropes,
multi-colored windows and a happy face sticker to
match with bruised paper skin
and adhesive color fingertips,
harder than the fissures in the road,
silver and gold flash in morning light,
just walk on by. recognizing one,
ringed rock eyes watch,

A wind when youre wandering
piercing through your cotton coat
under the white crescent listening
to the sound of gears not revolving.
That owl that trails
the rustling of trees,
Lillith, better known as the first banished of Eden
(though were all exiles from there),
the one who pursues
those who outwalk the furthest city light.
The alleyways you only notice with the moon,
her course leads to the shades
and all who follow the serpent
become part of the million eyed creature
known as the night.

I laughed at the citrus juice suicides,
that mixture of adolescence
and half-blue barbiturat

The tree is sleepy,
Cradling its birds in a low lisp.
Restoring the colors
Of an aged world,
The dew washes the dust off.
The sky turns orange,
Surprising the speechless street,
As the city, quite and chilly,
Steals 5 more minutes of sleep.

Dreams slipping away.
The Earth has opened one eye,
Admiring the universe.

Somewhere in the blue room
Waiting for the fortune teller
A golden globe.

Fire scourge punishing
The disobedient,
Zeus has judged.

Deafness stroke everyone
Confusion marked its place
You better shout.
