My daughter decided she wanted me to cross stitch her the pokemon and I found the first generation pokemon cross stitch chart. And without thinking about how long this would take me I decided to start stitching. And here I am 5 months in and only 5 pages in! I am averaging a page a month so that means I am looking at it taking 2 to 3 years... ugh.....

My 1st Embroidery Attempt.
I made up the design randomly from my head. - That's why all the flowers are the same kind. I tried to make up ways to make them look different on the fly. In retrospect, they were really frustrating, and I should have looked up different ways to do flowers other than daisy chain. The dragonfly was also really annoying. I learned many things attempting this project.

Design: Completely mine.
Material: Cheap craft felt. A second piece was added to the back and scrap felt was layered in as "stuffing" to give it a puffed look. A simple ribbon loop was sewn in.
