Woo!!! My first crochet Finnedyr! Based on the one I made called Current.
The only thing I changed was to skip the stripes on the legs. The fin is made by single crocheting around a wire then wrapping it and sewing it all together. This shot was tricky to get. I used yarn needles to make a tripod of sorts with the balancing leg. I edited them out since it looked like a big mess lol. Unfortunately I don't have any tiny shells, so I didn't make his necklace yet. I will soon though!
Current lives in the area around the Southern Beach next to the Southern Cliffs. He collects shells of many different varieties. He likes to race with the dolphins whenever possible. Loves to eat shrimp when he can find them.

I'm having so much fun with these Finnedyrs. I want to make a koi version in the future also. The next crocheted one will be Omen, who I am trying to work on a back story/role for.
Since he guides souls to the other side, I wanted to make some ghosts to go with him. I was thinking ghost koi or jellyfish to represent the souls. Which would look better? Or maybe one of each but I need one more animal if I'm going to make one of each. What would it be?
