Been busy these past weeks. Haven't the time to finish my previous project but still keep starting new projects. This is the newest one. It's Grieve-tan. A moe-fied 63rded version of general Grievous. I just found out about her yesterday and she already have a DA fan page. This is just a quick sketch did in a couple of hours as a study of the character. I really like the design, great job for the character designer.
Oh and I'm doing an armored Toph too.

Finger fiddler galore!
Practicing doing small busts sculpture everyday is a good way to familiarize and find out about new sculpting techniques and tips. I've been doing a lot of fansculpts from cartoon, comics, anime, and video games characters in my tumblr blog. Such as this Korra and Asami mini busts below. I'll post a compilation of it here soon.
So if you're interested, do visit http://frikimidz.tumblr.com for a more regularly updated sculpting blog thingy
October is Monster Girl Month!
I'm going to make October the monster girl month. Because I do love me some monster girls. I can't do a daily monster girl sculpt, but I do think 2 a-week is manageable. I've already have the first two lined up. Planning to post every Wednesday and Saturday.
See you tomorrow for entry #3!
New video tutorial: Making rigid mold
I've uploaded another video tutorial. This time it's about making rigid mold to transfer your wax/clay figure into a more permanent material. I've added English and Bahasa Indonesia caption too. So be sure to turn caption on.

Oh geez, what will the Japanese come up with next? I've tried sculpting bigger things more than just a bust, and they sure take a lot of work (and sculpey)! Great work!
