"Science: The great marvel of the Age! Whereas magic is the domain of the aristocracy, maintaining their lives of luxury and social prominence, it is an expensive and unpredictable affair, and available only to a select few. The wonders of Steam and the new Science, however, extend their promise to everyone. From ironclad steamships to personal ornithopters-from electric telegraphs to Babbage engines-the marvels of this age will surely transform the world! And with a little magic thrown in, who knows what else they will accomplish? Marvels of Science and Steampunk explores the great wonders of the Victoriana world, building on the many inventions and technologies covered in the Victoriana Second Edition Core Rulebook - and introducing a few more. Marvels of Science and Steampunk contains: Rules for designing and building technological marvels New character options for engineers Expanded rules for vehicles and vehicular combat New spells and medium abilities that affect technology Dozens of ready-made technological marvels to insert into your Victoriana campaign."

Marvels of Science and Steampunk: Written by Walt Ciechanowdski, Chad Bowser, and Scott Rhymer.

Once a water gun, this is now "The Ever-Charging Positronic Pistol, a marvel of modern science." It will be part of my Steampunk costume once I make a holster for it.

Steampunk Rhino Ray Gun Tank Biped Walker SUPER DETAILED All Wood Miniature

You can buy it at <[link]

With all of those Martian Tripod War Machines that have been landing lately around our dear English countryside, Queen Victoria hastened us to complete out own answers ... in this case the Bipedal Rhino Tank Walker; nothing more (or less!) than a giant, powerful ray gun on two legs!

It's a state of the art, nineteenth century marvel of a metal monster! The front half of the main body is devoted to the reay gun, a much larger version of our troops hand held Gaussman 7 model, while the back half to the bipedal locomotion. For it's bulk it achieves an impressive cruising speed on fairly leval terrain of about 18 miles an hour. A pilot and a gunner each have their own side carraige "baskets." A fleet is currently under construction...

I am proud to remind my viewers that this particular item is INDEED about 99.9% wood and completely free standing as you can see! Done in a slightly darkened, weathered metalic copper look. Enjoy!

This is one of my all wood (almost 100%) table top creations. It's one of my new branches of retro tech I am developing... specifically STEAMPUNK! Also (for me) ultra realistic items and even miniatures, but not always at the same time!

I paint and / or finish these with dark undertones and shading to highlight the details and then use layers of metallic and / or other coloring and finishes -- it's about 3 1/4" high, 3" long and almost 2" wide.

This stupid little sketch got waaay out of hand. I had to stop myself from colouring it because I have real work I gotta do, hahaha.

*Little-Miss-Kay suggested I draw the cast of 'For Science' playing Dance Dance Revolution.

Since I fucking love DDR, I thought why the hell not.

Powley made the mistake of letting it be discovered that he could dance. Percy and Benji then of course bullied him into being the guinea pig.
Like all people trying DDR for the first time, Powley is just trying not to fall on his ass.
This was of course only possible after several minutes of 'oh my god it's a big loud glowing box shouting at us! What sorcery is this?!'

And even that would have only been possible after "Benji! Either we're dead or your time machine works!"

it's best not to think about it too much.

Benji of course has never seen such a marvelous contraption, and would very much like to take it apart in the name of science.

I assume Mina would be off elsewhere winning all the games and/or bullying the proprietor into giving her stuffed animals.

"Gentlemen, this fallen angel is the illegitimate daughter of art and science. A modern marvel of engineering, clockworks elevated to the very natural process which even now is in your blood, racing, your eyes flashing at such irreproachable beauty. Here is Gaia, here is Eve, here is Lilith, and I stand before you as her father. Sprung fully-formed from my brow, dewy and sweet; she can be yours and yours again, for her flesh is the incorruptible pale to be excused from the wages of sin."
